    This is so motivating Mr. Berg.
    I am 33 years old, I started my journey in calisthenics when I was 31, that was July 1st 2019, yes maybe it was late for me.
    It took about 7 months for me to get my handstand good enough.
    Now, my latest skill is 90 degree pushup on low parallel bars, also I am working on my planche.
    What I want to say is, it is still possible to pursue your calisthenics skills although you are in 30's.
    Thank you for sharing this, this is real and honest progress indeed.

    At 52 I'm now almost on the verge of unlocking a consistent freestanding handstand.
    Actually I can freestanding handstand but not with the degree of consistency I'm aiming to.
    While I've been intent and going after my first handstand since 2015 it's not until the last couple years that I've made the most progress.

    I started from scratch a month ago mainly from you videos. It amazing how different some of the other want you to kick and tips are different. But I kept coming back to u. Now 1 month in I can hold 5 or 6 seconds but not consistently. I still need more strength in my wrists I believe and I'm a little older than these peeps starting out. Most of stuff I've done my whole life had been just for body cut and looks now becoming more for athletic functions

    WHAT A VIDEO!! Props to you, mate. I htink this is "The channel" that keeps me motivated, good content, quality, variety, so transparent, Sondre Berg always with a good vibe and these type of videos that makes you realize that calisthenics and fitness in general is an amazing journey and not just goals to post on social media (like skils or certain amount of reps idk).
    There's much more behind the results, and hearing it from other people really motivates me.

    I actually thought I’d get an answer from you how long it would actually take but tbh I really enjoyed this video so much that it legit helps ne a lot It’s been 5 days since I’ve been working on my handstand and today I did my personal best of let’s see 3.5 to 4 second handstand and this video really helps and motivates me Thankyou so much and please keep up the good work ♾

    I love the content and diversity of this video. I stopped working out in the gym(over 10 years with physique competition), and started calisthenics in July this year(4months now). I love it, outdoor with nature, less noise, currently stuck in straddle planche for 2 seconds and couldnt do free handstand still. train everyday. and oneday.

    Nice video…. I’m 53 and started my callisthenics journey around the start of the pandemic - It took me 8 months to handstand, 6 months to muscle up…. I made stupid mistakes at the beginning with overuse injuries from no rest, mainly on golfers elbow, and shoulder impingement. I’m currently working on improving shoulder mobility to improve my handstand (I like your thoracic bridge follow along) and am working towards HSPU and planche for 2022.

    1 tip: Always listen to your body. If your body says it has enough give yourself rest otherwise you risk injuries. On the other hand if some exercise feels like there is no chalange for you or is too easy it is probably time to start with harder more advanced variantions to make better progres. Great video 🙂

    that was a really cool video to see the journeys of all these different people :) i guess i was really lucky that i started handstand at the age of 13, i feel some skills are easier to learn as kid and so it took only like 1 month to achieve a 15 seconds free standing handstand. Now i am 22 and my goal is to achieve the straight 1 arm handstand on both sides and somewhere in the future i want to be able to do a straddle planche but i think this will take me really long. Anyway thank you for your videos, i really enjoy them. Oh and by the way i achieved the straddle one arm handstand mostly because of your tutorial, less ego lifting was the most important tip for me :D

      @@Sondre_Berg I found your channel about 2 weeks ago, your way of delivering content is spot on! I'm trying to get my free standing handstand, I managed 18 sec today but had many bad ones!! Should I focus on mastering my balance first (not completely straight) or focus on getting it straight and then work on the balance?

      @@scottcottiss4577 Agree with Gustav here :) Balance is the most important, especially in the beginning! I would however recommend also doing some form training using the wall as well as mobility drills for your shoulder

    Crazy good video. I was lacking motivation now that winter is coming and its getting dark and cold really fast. Its getting hard going out to a park in these conditions. This video has sparked my motivation again.
    I am really intrested to see how you train during winter Sondre. Does anything change in your routine at all?

      Winter for me usually means more strength focus and more drilling. During summer I tend to be a lot more playful and also bit more un structured beacuse I love being outside, hiking and enjoying nature as well

    Great video i’ve been trying to handstand 10 meses, and only done 3 sec, and about 3 days ago 5 sec and havent done it again , strugling with handstand hold , be patien thx 🙏🏻

      Yes, just be patient and stay consistent. It is perfectly normal that it goes up and down and depends on the day :) I am sure if you compared you last session with a session 5 meses ago, you have had great progress 😊

    I did a 10 second handstand in a month but was comfortable with it in mid 2nd or 3rd month. Now my whole youtube recommendation is full of handstand

    very strange for me, 5 years ago ittook me 6 months to learn a 10 second handstand, i had a 5 year break and now im 7 weeks in and can hold 40 second hold which blew my mind

No wonder I don't make much progress though, I only have time to train twice a week for 45minutes, where does everyone get the time to train so many hours a week??
