Ichigo is afraid of the hollow inside and hold back without knowing it.
I think it´s important to keep in mind something that a lot of people forget.
Ichigo in this arc is not in the right state of mind, he´s afraid of his hollow and just like Ulquiorra said "his spiritual pressure is all over the place sometimes is trash sometimes is greater then mine".
It´s something important to understand how sometimes ichigo looks stronger or weaker.
Btw in the manga that getsuga does like 3xl the damage it shows in the anime grimmjow gets fucked by it, a lot of attacks and injuries are down played on this arc because at this point bleach time slot on tv became ealrier so the sensourship became bigger when compared to the first 2 arcs

"Gentei Kaijo" is just Japanese, not a particularly made up phrase. It means "remove ones limits" , or Google says "Release of limitations"
The Quincy version of the fast step has a different sound effect as well.
Yeah , hirenkyaku , flash step , sonido all have different sound effects.

Great reaction! I love this kind of moments in the shonen shows cause you can see the vulnerability of the hero. Ichgo is disapointed with himself cause his mayor priority is to protrect everyone and the fact he couldn't defeat Grimmjow cause of his inner hollow just crushed Ichigo's pride.

Wonder what Tatsuki thought about seeing Ichigo getting the snot beat out of him while almost getting her soul sucked out by Yammy. Than when Grimmjow invaded she probably rushed out to see what all the random explosions were about only to see the kid she used to beat up every day which would result in him crying. Must be quite a shock.
Think about Yammy when he was in the world of the living. Just by standing close to ppl with low spiritual pressure they cant move and crumble and for a captain or lieutenant's level they too have strong spiritual pressure to make weaker crumble. Like how Kenpachi made Hanataro unable to move. In order not damage normal humans in the world of the living they have to seal like half of their powers away so they can walk freely without hurting weak souls.
Ichigo is neither Lieutenant nor Captain, nor officially a part of Soul Society, so no seals for him. They would have said it. Even if they didn't say it, and he had it, they just released it. xD
No there is a seal. All is answered in the fullbring arc
Shunsui, Grimmjow, Kenpachi, Yoruichi, Urahara and Aizen are my favorite characters in Bleach. Yoruichi, Rangiku and Orihime are my favorite waifus.
But there's a bunch of other great characters i like on this show. Too many great ones to list.

Also i believe the limiter comes along with the "Captain/ViceCaptain title" so Rukia and Ikaku did not have it...

Yes, Ichigo is actually sealed by the soul reaper badge itself, it is actually said in the fullbring arc and it is most likely 80% as well, yeah and spritual pressure means speed power and durability.

This goes to show how powerful ikkaku is since he defeated an arrancar without even the gentei kaijo.
He doesn't have a limiter. Only Vice-captains and above have limiters, whereas Ikkaku is a third seat.

He didn't, he isn't a captain or vice captain, so no limitation for him.
Despite Ikkaku being the level of power of a (stronger) vice captain, he isn't actually one in rank. So he was fighting at full power.
Those Arancars were weak as well
