[HOW TO] Perun P90 Installation and set up

Many thanks to ‪@perunairsoft4811‬ for sending me this P90 Mosfet.
In this video I show how to install the mosfet and some of the pitfalls to watch out for to make your install as easy as possible! This was done with a Double Bell P90 (links below to videos once released) and my review of it will come next week.

This makes a night and day difference for me. If I had to name one particular thing I don't like about using the TM/TM clone P90, it has to be the inconsistent trigger actuation thanks to the dead space in pulling it. Since installing it, the trigger response is a world of difference better. I was let down badly by the P90's trigger dead space at a CQB session and this bodes very well for next time I field it.

tip for less pain when putting the gearbox in at 17:30
tie or loop a bit of string around the cable and dangle it through, which will make the wire easier to find if you hold the receiver vertically (butt up)

just pick one of these up for my double bell but im having this worning gearbox cycle detection failure have you had this issuse or know how to fix it

I hope this mosfet can fix the fire selector issue. The fire selector switch feels numb and doesn't click in place sometimes, I hope this mosfet will fix that issue.

Hello, it won't help with numb selector, if it's the clicking into place feeling you are looking for. That needs the selector physically lifting to check the clicking component. But, it will help with the dead space of the trigger and the slack is generates. Pheas

When you said you hoped the gun shell would keep that cutoff lever in place and stop it from wobbling, did it end up doing that? Or did you need to do anything else for it?

I've installed the mosfet like you did, but when I want to shoot in semi or auto, the gun shoots briefly and I get a yellow/green flashing light (gearbox cycle detection failure).
Do you know how to fix this?

I would have a look at how the cut off level is installed and check its free moving and being detected by the sensor. Pheas

@@PheasAirsoft the cut off lever was rubbing against the mainboard. I shaved a bit off the col.
