    Really useful vid. I got 041j version last year and had to watch a French vid to work out how to strip it (and I’m crap at French) so this is amazing. I’d love to see a vid of what you’d do to upgrade this gun as I’m a beginner with no idea where to start.

    One thing that's cool is that you could totally buy an A2 styled stock, put it on, and simply disconnect the front wiring adapter since it's not actually a whole ass wire running along that thing! This thing looks so much easier to take apart than my AK lol

    Another solid video ...glad we found the hop adjuster although from the other comment posted it maybe broke...will be good to hear Taiwan guns reply re that . I had a Cyma Mp5k a long time ago and i remember that the hopup had a little arm that continued inside the handguard. I don't know if it is the same system but I'm pretty sure there is a problem with your hop up because it looks like it actually misses something. I don't think the allen screw was put in the box for the hop up adjustment. Anyway, it looks a great replica. Peace.

    Hi, thanks for all the awesome reviews/disassemblys - i got the CM.041J high speed and wanted to ask - what is the best way to get it to around 400fps with minimal wear ? from the video id take just a new o ring and a weaker spring ? can anyone point me in the right direction regarding how strong the spring has to be/which o ring works here ? thanks a lot (400-450fps)

    • @PheasAirsoft
      @PheasAirsoft  Před 2 lety

      Hello! When they are new from the factory they tend to have around 400 (or just over FPS) as normal. If you open it up, I think its an R14 (might be R13) sized O-ring and change that up to improve the airseal in the cylinder, you should then be able to lower the spring strength as it will still be higher fps (could still be an airseal issue with the airnozzle on the cylinder head and then the airnozzle to the hop rubber, the nozzle to hop rubber would be the most common suspect though) and you would gain a little bit more rounds per second and then after that it will be all good and run happy as can be. They are fairly solid and you probably wont need to do anything much to it, maybe just a metal toothed piston. Pheas

    Weird about the hop. I have an old CYMA MP5 EBB were it has an extended hop adjust arm. The arm runs along the gear box and is easy to get to with the mock bolt open. You use your finger nail to slide it back for more hop and push the arm forward to lessen hop. The adjust arm is small but is reinforced by resting on the gearbox. Weird how they went away with that arm.

    • @PheasAirsoft
      @PheasAirsoft  Před 3 lety +1

      @@tomhewitt8017 That's a good question with the bushings and bearings. With bearings they are in theory not going to last as long as bushings as they are a moving part so will at some point fail, but they can help to make the gearbox turn over that little bit snappier. So if you wanted the best rate of fire out of it then I would consider going down the route of bearings. If you were building a DMR build I would recommend the bushings in stead of bearings as they will stand up to the pressure of it high fps better.
      If you have the MP5 and want to make it a little snappier, a quick, relatively cheap upgrade could be a high speed motor, they range from about £25 to £80 (sometimes more) for a motor and can transform your rate of fire and how snappy the trigger is out of the box with little effort. I have been trailing the Kublai one from taiwan gun in my KWA Tk45C division 2 and it has been immense, the rate of fire has shot up loads!
      So maybe not rush to the internals if you can help it, and have a look at other areas to win on first.

      Hiya! From a quick google it looks to have a 220mm inner barrel! I would change the inner barrel and hop rubber (for ones of your choosing) and thats about it really. They are really nice on their own. Pheas

      @@MuscleFlexPro You may see a tiny amount of uplift in fps, but I would say max 10 is the most I have seen from fitting a tight bore and new rubber. But just keep an eye on it once its done. I would maybe, if you dont have a chrono, take it to a shop to get it chronoed once you have fit it! Good luck with it. Pheas

    your hop house is broken, its missing a long arm that reaches to the eject port.

      Not heard back from taiwan gun yet (didn't expect to yet) but I have sources some images that show it is infact missing a long bar (like you said) that screws onto the hop. Fingers crossed taiwan gun can sort me out, or I will fashion something myself if worst happens. Pheas

    Fitting a Titan isn't actually that easy, you have to grind the hell out of that gearbox shell. First of all, have to get rid of the original trigger contact sleeve, second the pins that hold the gbb shells in position, to make room for the cables, then the most frustrating one, the sleeve for the trigger blocking mechanism, on the upper part of the gearbox shell. Cheers, nice vid!

      I've always had really positive experiences with both of those retailers and in this case I think this is more of a cyma issue than a Taiwan gun issue. But like you said people can mistakes and retailers can't always get it 100% right, I hope they sorted it for you though. Pheas
