Over Night Canoe Trip GONE WRONG - falling into COLD WATER in the Allegheny National Forest

In this video I go on my first overnight canoe trip on the Allegheny Reservoir in the Allegheny National Forest. Things go wrong and I end up dumping the canoe in 40 degree water. This video is documenting my experience on the trip and some reflection on lessons learned.

You were there during a high water event. The week before, it rained every day, and they held back water to prevent flooding down stream.
The water can be deep right offshore. Glad to see you enjoy my backyard. Watched them build the dam when I was a kid.

Great video, it's hard to share trip failures, but those failures can often become great stories and wonderful learning experiences. Glad you're ok and maybe we'll see you on the river sometime.
