The worst booing incident I can remember is when Faze beat Oxygen at the 2022-2023 Fall Major. Poor Firstkiller took the mic who clearly was not built for booing and the European crowd went to town anyway. Booing can be fun if applied to the right characters in the scene, but the crowd majorly messed up that time in my opinion.

The booing of Faze was partly due to Firstkiller and his drama but mostly because they eliminated Oxygen with the only two Dutch players in Rotterdam, of course the home crowd was disappointed
I went to the London 3.0 and Boston last year. Jonny said once that eu people just cheer for rocket league and not individual teams. But from my experience the fans at Boston barely booed and didn’t boo any last standing eu team. Mean while in London G2 was booed sooo much. I honestly didn’t expect that tbh just because g2 has been in the scene for years and they are a EU org. But I just don’t want to hear Johnny cap about that. I was expecting a lot more people to cheer for G2 after the only eu team got eliminated. Made the win feel better though because G2 took the spot as the best team in the world, in the home of rocket league… London!!
And it’s not like it’s the first time. Don’t forget about V1. Glad beast mode got his get back. So I don’t want to hear that EU doesn’t booo!! That’s cap. Honestly they are most toxic. Especially the French. Don’t get me started on the French🤦♂️

Every show like Halo that is based on a game where the people that produce it don't care about the games it is based on and just do whatever they feel like deserves to be cancelled. It is not that hard, just look at some gameplay, read a summary of the main stories and characters and stay somewhat close to the material and vibes. That's all we want.
Regarding booing: the main problem is you have 20 and 30-somethings as spectators and 15 year olds as the players. Either enforce very strict rules about booing or raise the age limit to 18 for players.
Rocket League fans are also the worst I have ever seen on twitch. Instead of cheering and being happy for your team, like in other real-life sports, Rocket League fans are just insulting the opposite team. When a goal happens, they start to shittalk the opponent instead of cheering for their own team. Even when G2 scored they did that. The entire arena was against g2 for no reason. And against majority NA teams. But EU has the best crowds bc they can say “insert 3 players name” chants. Year right.
