    yes, banana leaf left a pleasant fragrance on the dumpling. It also protected the dumpling from getting soggy

    Wow! it looks good Helen. I will try to make this tapioca dumplings tomorrow. Looks like a lot of work but I will do it since my kids love to eat them. The lady lives next door to me sells 50 cents a piece of dumpling. I don't want to buy them anymore so i will make my own. Thank you Helen for the recipe.

    Hi thanks a lot for this video. I'm giving it a go right now. But when I put the banana leaves in water, I observe there is a white deposit appearing on the leaves. Do you also have it? do you know what it is? hope it's not related to some kind of chemicals? thks!

      Tiffaney Monet oooh that sounds good, I bet you could put a little sugar or honey in the tapioca mix and fill it with cooked fruits or something. Cherry or raspberry dumplings sound good.
