- After a week of signing, packing, and grooming trails, Mike and Jesse finally get out for a ride on the sleds. We ride from Cochrane to Smooth Rock Falls for lunch at Ellie's bistro. The trails had 2 feet of fresh snow on them making for a sweet ride. On the way back to Cochrane Jesse and Mike play in the deep snow and get stuck a couple times of course!

I think I'm going to take that idea of the road crossing signs and add them to the limoges/casselman area, sooo handy when your lost/broken down and don't know the area

Man I wish we were up there. Got 2 ft here in western Maine but its not enough to get the trails open. Forecast sucks to boot. Ready to summarize the sleds and break the bikes back out!

Ya it is an absolute beast. Similar to my 22 Reny X-RS 850 in a lot of ways but definitely some solid improvements with the Gen5. Cheers, Jesse

I've been rocking a Ski Doo Exome Radiant Sport helmet for a couple rides so far this season. That helmet would give the Mission a run for it's money
Other than its weight, the exome is much heavier.

Great work guys! I got a Mission Carbon for this year and am glad to hear you like yours Mike. I used to try and get video on my GoPro and got tired of batteries only lasting 20 mins so I gave up. Does anyone make a system where the GoPro can be plugged into sled power?

Your next sled may be a 850 renegade turbo, great video
I don't think so. I'm not convinced a turbo 2 stroke is a going to be a good trail sled. I need something that gets decent mileage and a turbo will be worse. I'm also not sure about the reliability yet. Time will tell with that new boost though. Cheers, Mike
Looks like the season is under way!! Ya I'd like to heard your comparison between the Gen 4 and the Gen 5 with the suspensions. How they compare, likes and dislikes etc
We will probably do this at the end of the season. The sleds are very similar but now that we've been able to try a G5 with Smart Shocks, we will have some good insights for people this year. Cheers, Mike

Looks like two shields stacked on top of each other, and big air gaps on the side of windshield.
That is just the low windshield without the the side deflectors installed.

When you have the breath box on where do you put the mic for the com ?
I put it so that the mic just sticks out of the cheek pad. I have noticed some condensation already that might be affecting this setup and need more time with it to be 💯 certain but it seems to work well thus far. Cheers, Mike
