the 2nd movement is so hauntingly beautiful.
This recording is astonishingly good! The fourth movement was astounding.
Unbelievably beautiful. It is like a garden coming to one's ears.
And thank you for publishing the partitions.
*the second the Malinconia movement ended and I was letting the music sink in:
“OH OH OH, O’REILY AUTO-PARTS”
Huh? it doesnt sound similiar.
@@pyotrskotnicki7098 I was saying that an ad popped up on my phone that was the O’Reily Auto Parts ad and it popped up right after the Malinconia movement ended
Not only there is dies irae, but also DSCH at 7:06 !!! I wonder if the (sensible) remark pertains to this.
Such a masterpiece!
5:16 is my favorite
If Bach wrote in a contemporary style this is what the chords would look like.

How difficult is this to learn?
The Ysaye Sonatas are considered some of the most difficult in all of the solo violin repertoire, from what I understand...
@@GNGianopoulos which one is the easiest?
I'll leave that to a violinist to answer! They are all quite challenging...
@@mitchell-bt3tj None. They are all difficult. There is a reason Ysaye didn't write anything viola.
The “easiest” is the 4th sonata
