the manuscript of Ysaÿe recently world premiere E Minor Violin Concerto.
Can clearly see influences from Mendelssohn's E Minor Violin Concerto, but then still being so Ysaÿe.
Of course it should not be the whole E Minor Concerto, but then here's the only part we can currently get in touch with.

@@violinwritten Something ab the G minor Ysaye just feels so different though. Really wish someone would release some sheet music for it. Don’t sleep on Bruch’s 3rd Violin concerto either tho
@@chris-tube210 I was never a fan of any of the bruch concertos when my teacher asked me to play, I jumped to ss, barber instead.
@@chris-tube210 Totally agree, his G minor concerto is just more... impressionistic and poeme-like. Definitely not an upgraded version of a prior composer's work!

im working on a piano and violin reduction in musecore as ivanov/ his agent didnt respond to emails. I wont say its going to be perfect as some his handwriting is "too fancy"(i came across a marking called earmata???) thanks for uploading to imslp tho and i know its been pretty long since the premiere of this video.
There is an incomplete piano reduction by Ysaÿe himself in the library, you can check that out.

Ysaÿe mixed with Mendelssohn and some Bruch
Now where can you find the sheet music for that? It took me forever to find a copy of the Vieuxtemps Concerto # 3, and then 2 years after I did, they finally reprinted it.
But how to get a copy of this rarity?
This concerto is in the same line of tradition as Wieniawski,,Ernst, Vieuxtemps and a bit of Conus for the brevity with full effect and is totally playable.
It's actually on Belgium's Royal Library, (so are a lot of Eugene Ysaÿe's collections) where they digitized some of their archived scores including this. I remember there are a lot of Vieuxtemps scores there as well?
There are only 2 recordings of this Concerto. This particular one with Ivanov & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège only shows the 1st movement. But recently, Philippe Graffin released all 3 movements in a recording with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Kinda shocking
It's only so recently that they figured out all the movements, manuscripts spread across the globe lol

I wouldn't agree with that description this much, the influence is clear (beside from technique) because both concertos have the same key, Mendelssohn's isn't in E Major

1. For now I have already uploaded the E Minor Concerto to IMSLP, so you could check it.
2. D Minor Concerto is in Julivard Collection, which has been digitised and my friend has did the score vid of it.
3. G Minor Concerto is stored in KBR (in Belgium) and yet to be digitized. However that one is only having complete solo violin part and incomplete full score (according to the library record)
