Cannot type the full title... Orchestrated by Kenneth Martinson! This one is really, really interesting, because for this concerto, the soloist needs to play both violin and viola! (At least, this is not played simultaneously) And since it is a concerto, so both parts are having some difficulty lol Though, the written cadenzas (at 1st movement and last movement acting as so) are all for violin ...

    The only problem with this music is that it isn't really any good. Dramatic without drama, etc, etc. On the positive side: it makes you appreciate the true musical geniuses even more!

    Laurence lesser has an excellent, if not the best recording I've ever heard of this piece i think from '63. There's also one from Heinrich Schiff. Played it a few years back and found 4:29-4:40 to be the most difficult part of the concerto, not the ossia part. The rest seems to sit surprisingly well.
