  • THIS is where I tried Ayahuasca: tr.ee/rkyHseLtiA
It was great trying it at the source: the Amazon jungle!
What is ayahuasca and what does it do to your body and your mind when you drink it? What about purging on ayahuasca? Does it make you throw up? Let's go over the science to discover the effects of ayahuasca.
Please note: ayahuasca is NOT a recreational substance. It can bring up very painful and challenging experiences and needs to be respected and experienced under proper guidance. This video does not condone its use to any one individual.

Thank you for watching! Have you experienced any plant medicines like Ayahuasca or are you planning to visit Peru for it?

Hey thanks so much!! If you have any thoughts on how I can improve this channel, please let me know!
Ayahuasca is an intense experience and can be life changing. I’m so glad I did it in the place where it originated, the Amazon jungle. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Brandon, just discovered you channel, love the video. I'd love to hear more and know more about your time and experiences in the actual DMT Hyperspace. Did you see the machine elves and the cities described? It'd be a great video. Thanks much!

    Hi,
I hardly noticed that people speak about disadvantages on using this plant or group of plans.
As you are talking from scientific and deep approach I would like to hear what you think about that.
Because anything that we use has it's good and bad sides.

Sure thing. First of all, as with any psychedelics (and I would indeed consider this to be a psychedelic), it's heavily cautioned that anyone with a predisposition (either within themselves or immediate family members) to conditions such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, reconsider their interest in participating. I'm no expert but these conditions can be triggered by the intense experiences of Ayahuasca. Also, there are plenty of stories of people participating in ceremonies/retreats and becoming the victims of assault and/or sexual abuse. This is considered a sacred plant medicine that will not only put you in an extremely vulnerable physical state but a highly suggestible and emotional one as well. Finding people/places with a good reputation/recommendation and with shaman that are experienced and respected is so important. Lastly, my retreat facilitator said, "many people think Ayahuasca will solve their problems. But taking Ayahuasca is not the last step of your journey, it's actually the first." Once you open yourself to Aya, you may realize that the process of healing and diving into the content that is brought up carries on for a looong time after you leave the jungle (or wherever you are drinking). It's often not an easy journey and it changes a lot within you, so you may want to prepare for that. All the best.

Hey Frank. Thanks for the comment. Just curious, why do you think you’re too old to try it? It’s true that it’s certainly not for everyone but when I think of age, I think of the shaman that guided my experiences. Each man and woman was in their 70s and they attended to 15 of us participants and sang their songs for 4 hours straight. Pretty incredible.
