Cans get crushed when dropped in water?! 💥🥤

- When you heat up a soda can which has a little bit of water in it, it gets filled with hot water vapor. Now suddenly drop the can in cold water and the pressure inside will drop dramatically, but air pressure outside stays the same and can CRUSH the can! 🔥💧

The ship that was crushed was crushed because of the extreme pressure because the relationship between increasing the depth and the pressure is a direct relation and that is why the ship exploded
But the Video was because we had hot and cold water
@user-oq9xd8ir9x because hot water (and air) has LOWER PRESSURE and when its dropped in water the HIGHER PRESSURE outside crushes it. its literally what happened to the titan sub just the sub was because of watching pushing down but its the same thing
I love how she ends it with the warning to be carful if you do it at home. Very wholesome of her to add that in there.

I wish I'd had teachers like that. So full of enthusiasm and passion for science and the great ability to explain physics simply and inspire enthusiasm in students.
Hogwarts: would you like to work with us?
Finally someone who says if you do this at home make sure you're careful instead of do not try this at home
That is a great way to explain what happened with the titanic submersible tour
Well half explains it the rest is super inward pressure
Titanic was sunk by the captain, not the ive berg. They had ample warning and time to avoid the Ice bergs but he decided that keeping schedule rest more important than passengers safety.
@@420sakura1talking about the submersible duh

@@Dharam3552 still thr captain's fault. The guy cheaped on safety. The pressure* under the ocean is immense. Ang the guy thought that the bare minimum was enough. U doing feel anything though because I couldn't care less about the rich.
Fluid Mechanics has an equation to determine the pressure. Pressure ° density * 9.8 * height of the water column. 1000 * 9.81 * 3962 = 38.77 Mega Pascal, which is approximately 382 Times atmospheric pressure. I know the equation and correct value maybe different since this a basic but this gives an idea how much pressure they were under. 1 Pascal is the amount of force applied per Unit area and if multiply the surface area if the vessel, the number added up
These videos make me so happy, I have an enthusiasm for science but not many people I know do. So seeing someone as excited about it as I am makes me so happy.
I wish physics teachers were like this
I love the sincere joy on her face! This channel is amazing!!
The Russian accent makes it even better 😅

Such a positive vibe this beautiful woman gives. My science teacher was like half asleep and half awake while teaching and most of the students were very weak in science. Studying was never fun in my childhood. 😩😩😩
I would like to see more teachers who teach their subject matter so vividly for our children. So much passion. I had a teacher like that in maths and physics and loved it. I'm still interested in physics today at over 50 and read books about it.
The lesson OceanGate called out sick for
I liked this tweet, because I thought the same. That’s why I commented if anyone is wonderin’ why. That’s why. K. So, what’s up? Anyone wanna cyber?

I love her energy and how she explains things and her love of teaching
We need all the teachers like this
I need this woman as my sience teacher.
Titanic Taxi Service, you rush em, we crush em
Absolutely love the energy from this professor! Would be a pleasure to be in a class with her
The world needs more teachers with this much passion.
I love her genuine smile at the end of every video
thats why submarines crush?
The deeper you go in the ocean, the greater the pressure (more and more water pushing against the shell of the sub). When the strength of the water pressure exceed the strength of the metal shell, it crushes the sub. In other words a sudden implosion when a sub exceeds it's depth limit.
Shes literally the best teacher ever i swear
She is the most manic teacher I've ever seen, I love her - how could anyone not?
I have an 8 year old. Please still be there when I send him in 10 years!!
"if you do this at home, be very careful with the hotplate" 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺
I was touched😊
Absolutely adore your energy for science education.
I love her her she was my science teacher she’s always had such a good happy tone and vibe

This is one of the options for our investigatory project.....but my groupmates picked specific heat capacity because its easier.
Im a business student and im still thinking of going to a&m just to meet this lady 😭
She is brilliant! Need more like her!
One time, me and my mom went to Quebec City, and she was on a talk show where she was talking about turning a bicycle wheel sideways to improve momentum and ever since, I've grown to love her and her teaching.
i never knew sience could be this exciting
The world needs more beautiful humans like this.
The energy, the excitement, the accent , the teaching technique …. 👍👍
My assistant principal showed us this when we usually would have been studying for our earth science regent. He really did well at calming us down and making us relaxed before such a stressful test, especially since it was our first regent
I love this woman. She is so obviously passionate about science and learning. I wish she'd been my science teacher. Her enthusiasm is infectious.
Literally that’s what happened to the titan little submarine.
Poseidon impression
Best teacher in the world
Her voice and small are so comforting like 😭😭
My physics teacher showed us that in year 7, it's one of the most memorable physics lessons, he also showed us a treacle tin lid flying off the tin, it actually fully split in half
This is my favourite human being on earth!💯
Shouting does not make science fun.
Oh confrère, you have never made homemade explosives.
Love teachers who love to educate
I love her so much. I’m so happy we all get to enjoy her through these videos. She is absolutely delightful. Her accent makes her enthusiasm even more contagious as well.
This is the kind of teacher that gets you to start liking school & enjoy learning new this. 🖤
This is like going to A&M without paying for it
Grus mom explaining to the minions there next mission because gru is on vacation:
Good way to describe how pressure works underwater, the farther down you go, the colder it is, and your body is about 90-100 degrees farenheit on the inside, which at a certain temperature outside, causes your body to start crushing under the pressure
We did this back in 8th grade; had an assignment on the science behind it and everything. Good times.
this is why my favorite subject in school is science its so cool
She is an amazing Science teacher. If we have some teachers like her in our country, India will arouse more interests in our kids minds leading to many more Scientists.
She makes Learning so much fun
Science was 1 of my favourite subjects at school. I wish she was 1 of my teachers.
When she says 'crush' with the trilling 'R' I'm immediately taken to the old 'Kids in the Hall' sketch. "I'm crushing your head! crush! crush!"
Protect her at all costs, shes so energetic
Protect this lady under any cost
This lady is making me feel positive about picking physics next year, and I love her positive energy
Fun fact - this is a demonstration of what the oceangate submarine experienced when it... umm... yeah'd.
dang i would love getting a teacher like this it would be fun
Same principle to make vacuum food conservation. But in food you see in supermarkets they put cooked and hot food inside glass containers then immediately they put hermetically designed cap lids só when the water steam drop temperature reduces volume occupied,so it creates a vacuum with no oxygen over the water. Of course in that case material is stronger than a thin aluminum can and the containers doesn't destroy like on this video.
Best science teacher. If only my science teacher was this fun, I wouldn’t be failing.😂
My science teacher be like 😐 other people’s science teachers are like 😁 this science teach be like 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I took physics at Texas A&M in 2014. Tatiana was already the best physics professor back then, as well as way before. You’re looking at decades of passion and expertise!

I learnt this in science class one time, it’s a fun Experiment!
You're such a good fun teacher! I wish my teacher was like you!
I would have loved physics if I had a teacher like this
Created vacuum due to sudden cooking. A phenomenon most commonly avoided by safeguarding in industrial petrochemical processing facilities and storage tanks.
to simplify what she meant:
the cans lost heat to the cold water and contracted to form the crushed cans
the cans then gained heat from the hot water vapour and expanded to form a new shape
Now all i wanted is JUDGEMENT
She's the Science teacher that I want.
Wow. Sudden Temperature Change, cool!
The physics teacher we need 🔥
I hate when people say that they don’t know how much they care for you but even if they did it would still hurt them
