I’ve never understood that quote from Forrest Gump. “Stupid is as stupid does”. Grammatically, it makes no sense. But even if it was worded properly, it still makes no sense. It was never a common saying until that Tom Hanks movie, and some unknown writer came up with it. I think he just wanted to use something nonsensical as part of Gump’s little comments throughout the movie. Am I wrong, or does someone know what it means?
saw it live and he went flying, it was actually stunning to see. if i had to guess he flew 20+ feet up and about 100ft down the street onto the sidewalk stopping right in front of a tattoo shop. he was laying on his right side with his back to the building and facing the street. honestly he looked like a leaking bag of broken bones with a helmet on (his pants were gone). two police officers walked up to him and and bent over to try and get a verbal response from him - he looked 100% deceased. then the helicopter cut the video and they deleted the video from youtube a couple of minutes later.
I see people arguing that if a bike going that fast hits a car, or a ‘cage” that minimal damage would be done to the other vehicle. The whole front end was ripped off that car. These guys should see what a 160 lb deer hit at around 60 mph does to a car, then think about what a 400 lb motorcycle can do ar 100+ mph.
@@yancieb the boys in blue terminated the 10-80 to stalking mode (which is a helicopter follows them and police units go in that general direction), and the dude kept driving like an idiot. How did he think he was gonna make it out alive? LOL
it’s not funny cause at the end of the day this dude was someone’s family or friend and happened to make a bad decision which wasn’t right but you also mocking his death isn’t right either
The only people I care about these days are the victims. I have no room for compassion for those who cause suffering to others... to which I say that I hope the driver and passenger are ok.
There may be other circumstances we don't know about the rider. Mental health, addiction, etc. Which is sadly common among people who commit crimes OR engage in life/death behavior. Maybe it's time to re-examine your values or your understanding of the world.
That level of bad decision making is honestly impressive. You have to have about 3 total brain cells with only 1 firing at 50% to decide to drive a motorcycle over 100 MPH down a main road through multiple intersections. He wasn’t even being chased…… “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” This is typical Sport Bike rider stuff though. They’re all terrible decision makers. Out of everyone I’ve ever known in life that rode a sport bike, 9 out of 10 of them have passed away while riding. It’s just too much power in a small package and they abuse it. On top of that, I’m really sick of the “watch out for motorcycles” chant people have these days. It’s the other way around…..cars are going to win 10/10 times. Stop driving 50+ over the posted speed limit, swerving in and out of traffic, and being lawless. YOU watch out for cars.
Just an FYI: some people are partially blaming the car for turning in front of the motorcycle . However, that direction of traffic had the green light and left turn arrow. The motorcycle ran the red light. You will notice that the other cars going in his same direction were all stationary. I live in the area, so I’ve driven through that intersection dozens of times and I can confirm that it has a left turn arrow. For what it’s worth, there is a fire station literally three blocks away. The motorcycle went right past it just before the fatal collision.
I haven’t seen anymore defend the motorcyclist yet…I guess I haven’t read far enough but that’s because they don’t know traffic laws…probably some little idiot kids
@@JN-qj9gfYep, objects moving at 120 feet per second tend to appear out of no where or appear quicker than expected. Traffic rules were not created with that type of speed in mind.

As an LA native who has lived here almost 50 years, the selfishness of this guy - putting others at risk and in danger- is what is so bothersome. I saw something like that happen many years ago, back in the early 90s. It wasn't a police pursuit, just a nut on a bike with his girlfriend on the back. They went flying through a intersection at a excessive speed, lost control and hit a car then both flew off. He went headfirst into a telephone pole and somehow she got her leg ripped off. Both DOA. Oh and it was a school zone at that. 20mph and they had to be doing around 80.
First shout out to the camera man for being the ultimate MVP. Next people need to see things like this because it makes them think twice about speeding. The news is way to sanitized. People need to see the worst so we know what’s really happening out there. I work for a government agency and trust me things are much more worst than what you see here.
Your government hides true disaster, that they themselves create in order to keep its power. So they dish out these "criminals" on news channels all over- which in the long run, only suppresses fear in the minds of the common sheep. We both know fear, is the ultimate control tactic.. you said it yourself, this is nothing compared to what's really out there
Technically, he committed felony by leaving the scene of the accident. If he was white, the LAPD will file charges. If he was black, he will "walk" free. Yes, sir.
My heart just sank I’ve seen videos of many human deaths possible but this.. this just is worst than most close up one but this is far and still traumatizing it felt like a knife piercing me.
Considering this kind of stuff happens all the time, and is generally being filmed from a new helicopter to begin with or being followed by a police helicopter, wouldn’t it make more sense for the police to just back off and follow with the helicopter? Or in communication with the news helicopter to keep an eye on the suspect, if there is no police helicopter present? Makes sense to me.
i hope the victims in the car will pull through and recover soon. that was indeed a terrible accident. as for the suspect, he knew that going 100+mph with no concern for those around him was gonna lead to a tragedy. unfortunately he brought it upon himself and no one else can be blamed for this. even LAPD chose not to pursue him.

Play stupid games get stupid prizes.
@@andysmith6824 that’s the point, you’re taking this way too seriously. Satire, sarcasm, perhaps you’ve heard of these terms?

Well my momma always said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you gonna get.
saw it live and he went flying, it was actually stunning to see. if i had to guess he flew 20+ feet up and about 100ft down the street onto the sidewalk stopping right in front of a tattoo shop. he was laying on his right side with his back to the building and facing the street. honestly he looked like a leaking bag of broken bones with a helmet on (his pants were gone). two police officers walked up to him and and bent over to try and get a verbal response from him - he looked 100% deceased. then the helicopter cut the video and they deleted the video from youtube a couple of minutes later.
I was wondering, did he die?
@@thepeskyone No No, he'll be okay. Nothing a little R&R cant fix.
Well it's a good thing he was wearing his helmet.
Well... thanks for the descriptive visual nonetheless. I was curious how he ended up... needless to say I knew he was dead, that part was a given.
Thanks for info! 💯

I see people arguing that if a bike going that fast hits a car, or a ‘cage” that minimal damage would be done to the other vehicle. The whole front end was ripped off that car. @@thegreatescape902 I need a date sir. When is this judgment day?
nobody deserves to die !
That level of bad decision making is honestly impressive. You have to have about 3 total brain cells with only 1 firing at 50% to decide to drive a motorcycle over 100 MPH down a main road through multiple intersections. He wasn’t even being chased……
“Play stupid games, win stupid prizes”
This is typical Sport Bike rider stuff though.
He went so high, that almost the chopper could have gave him a lift
All he had to do was pull over. Guilty or not, the truth would have been determined eventually. His fault 100%.
No bail no jail in Commi-Fornia he would of gotten no punishment
He could have slowed down for the intersections anyway. The police already called off the chase. Running red lights at 80mph in L.A. is suicide.
True..in NY you wouldn't even get in trouble or bail
Just an FYI: some people are partially blaming the car for turning in front of the motorcycle . However, that direction of traffic had the green light and left turn arrow. The motorcycle ran the red light. You will notice that the other cars going in his same direction were all stationary.
I live in the area, so I’ve driven through that intersection dozens of times and I can confirm that it has a left turn arrow.
For what it’s worth, there is a fire station literally three blocks away. The motorcycle went right past it just before the fatal collision.
Also the motorcyclist stripped the car drivers ability to gauge when it was safe to turn by approaching at 3x the limit.

A not surprising dumb comment from someone with that moniker.
Damnnnnn...ripped leg??
He did that to himself
First shout out to the camera man for being the ultimate MVP.
Next people need to see things like this because it makes them think twice about speeding. The news is way to sanitized.
People need to see the worst so we know what’s really happening out there. I work for a government agency and trust me things are much more worst than what you see here.
They still won't think twice...people are just too stupid...especially when they operate a vehicle
They printed very graphic crash photos in the paper back in the 50's and 60's
Your government hides true disaster, that they themselves create in order to keep its power. So they dish out these "criminals" on news channels all over- which in the long run, only suppresses fear in the minds of the common sheep. We both know fear, is the ultimate control tactic.. you said it yourself, this is nothing compared to what's really out there
They’re sanitizing gender itself ffs . Good luck showing any reality to anyone , especially through two layers of masks and three jabs deep 👀
Machu Piccu why would they put it out if it suppresses fear? I would think they want to spread it
His corpse landed so far from his bike that he could also be charged for leaving the scene of an accident.
Technically, he committed felony by leaving the scene of the accident. If he was white, the LAPD will file charges. If he was black, he will "walk" free. Yes, sir.
WHERE THE HELL DID HE LAND?? I WAS LOOKING ON THE ROOF OF THE BUILDINGS!!
My heart just sank I’ve seen videos of many human deaths possible but this.. this just is worst than most close up one but this is far and still traumatizing it felt like a knife piercing me.

I’m pretty sure the driver wouldn’t be able to see him seeing as he was going 100 mph.
That says a lot Al Bundy.
A wise person learns from others mistakes
Man did 4 in air cartwheels in about 3 seconds.
Makes sense to me.
i hope the victims in the car will pull through and recover soon. that was indeed a terrible accident. as for the suspect, he knew that going 100+mph with no concern for those around him was gonna lead to a tragedy. unfortunately he brought it upon himself and no one else can be blamed for this. even LAPD chose not to pursue him.
what do you mean "the victims in the car" ?
