- In WWE 2K23's Universe Mode not all cutscenes are listed in the cutscene selector. You will have to do specific things to select certain scenes. Here's a quick guide on how to find some secret scenes.

Good. This is as close as we'll get to Story Designer again.
The old Universe modes felt restricted and you can only get what they gave you and when you did change things, you wouldn't get cutscenes.
It's nice to have some freedom for once.

1:00 I dunno if the crowd were chanting for Cena or Phenom, but I love that the cutscenes have crowd chants for the wrestlers in it!
They were chanting Cena. But I can agree it’s very cool
I like the undertaker specific scenes but they could’ve taken it a step further and let you choose what finisher you wanna hit in the cutscenes. For example that last scene could’ve been an “attitude adjustment betrayal” where you select your finisher from a drop down menu
That sounds cool but I hope you do understand how much work that would take. They'd either have to splice a cutscenes with a normal finisher animation or make a unique animation for most finishers which is a ton of work.
Would be cooler if we could use these for Bray and Kross for example

@@cooldinom can’t be much more work considering they already have an animation previewer built into the game.
There should be a cutscene for at the beginning of a match where it will just end in an immediate roll up.

This is a good start to make Universe mode amazing feeling again. Now just simply add more and more expansive cutscenes and even character specific ones through time and eventual games.
I also want backstage cutscenes as well like in the create a story of old WWE games.

They should make more signature superstar specific cutscenes like with the Undertaker. It's good that they are making more cutscenes but I feel this will get old quick seeing the same cookie cutter cutscenes and animations over and over again. Hopefully the can give us some updates

Having a choice is definitely the right step in the right direction.
I think it's gonna be similar to their version of MyGM in a sense that they will simply stack more stuff, features, and cutscenes as the series progresses.

Both should be in the game though. Hopefully they add promos back next game through this cutscene system. That would be epic.

Hey how do I get the money in the bank cutscene? I had edge become mr money in the bank and I also gave sheamus the world title, I put them in a “very high” rivalry but when I go into the options for rivalries there’s none there. I did remove the universal title and give sheamus the world heavyweight championship, so could it be that?

Little late, but all of these require the rivals to be allies at the same time. I got it when I got an Edge and Rey Mysterio rivalry. What intensity I’m not sure.

Yeah there's loads more. These are just the ones you have to do specific requirements for.

I'm not sure but in WWE 2k22 I did that, started a rivality (1vs1) then each week they started to become allies, and at the PPV the rivality ended up with a Tag Team match (both superstars vs a random tag) after win the match they celebrated together and became automatically an official Tag in my universe mode, so I hope that options and cutscences are there 🤞

If I remember correctly it's ally vs ally and one has to be champ for it to pop up.

How long does the rivalry have to go on for the betrayal option to show up?
Just put it on low intensity and it will automatically show up.

They need upgrade universe so hard ,instead superstar or superstars should be actual Wrestler names,draft need be added and promos,it’s to much to add here,ok new rivalry system is good but why only this you can set on rivalry
Imagine they merged create a story like from wwe14 with 2k23 universe mode in the next game. I would defo buy it. Im sticking with my 2k22, these new options in wwe 2k23 seem ok though

Rivaly actions was broken and now removed
still the same boring stuff. universe needs more than just rivalry scenes. it needs backstage scenes, forming tag team and faction scenes, getting a manager male or female scenes, feuding in a manager/romance scenes for a wwe diva etc... just to name a few, stuff that made games like the early smackdown games fun and enjoyable to play over and over and give it more season mode flow. superstar mode in universe can benefit from this as a text based season mode with stat racking not just for the chosen wrestler but for the whole rosters.
