- In today's video I try to beat Terraria in expert mode but when I get hit, I lose max life, mana, my currently held item, gold from my piggy bank, and a random buff. I hope you all enjoy this brutal challenge!

Also for those wondering why we started in hardmode, this video is the continuation of the Hp loss challenge I did a while back on the channel but with several updates. Before we just had to worry about the mana and health loss but now we've added several more changes to make things more interesting. Hope you all enjoy!

that plantera fight was such a mood. doing better when you go in for a "test" fight with none of your gear, and then when you go in with everything you do way worse and lose. why does that always happen in every game?
Yeah, goes from nearly no-hit beating it, to going in with full health and getting hit constantly to dying and only doing slightly better, that's earnt the "Pain" title
maybe the stakes? if you're more relaxed you might do better

I remember I was about to fight Plantera and I was like "alright it's getting late, I'm tired, I wanna go to bed. One more attempt and I'm done." I then proceeded to turn her into shredded lettuce. I was shaking and needed to take a breather before going to sleep.

fun fact the actual rarest drop in the game is getting 1-11 platinum coins from a silt block

@@MegaKBang Yeah that’s because the enemy that drops RoD is somewhat rare, and that combined with the low drop chance makes it a very rare item.
I didn’t even know you could get platinum coins from silt, and I’ve been playing since before the Crimson was added. Apparently it’s a 0.0073% chance. I wonder how that compares to whatever the second rarest drop is? Hopefully someone’s made a chart or something of what the rarest drops are
Really? I remember that the first ever platinum i ever got (2 platinum ) in my first playthrough was from fossils

Well... Now we know what took so long for the video to come out
Instead of using all of the crystals at once, he instead should’ve used them as a healing potion. There’s no cool down and that way he wouldn’t use too many (unless he choked and died like he did a couple times...)
I thought of that but I'm pretty sure he didn't do that to keep the challenge fun. He did the life fruit-life crystal dupe to save time and not turn the run into a no-hit, and that was it. If he used it like a healing potion it would remove a lot of the stakes and purpose of the challenge.

This needs a way to craft renewable life crystals, perhaps 4 life fruits + 1 mana Crystal = 1 life crystal? Idk something so you don't have to cheese farm with king slime and a bunch of fruits
There's a 1% chance of getting a life crystal from golden fishing crate, plenty renewable.
@@biggali As he's already mentioned before, that's added in 1.4. In 1.3.5, which this playthrough is in since its modded, that doesn't exist.

@@gairisiuil ehh it's really not that bad. Me and a friend did a skyblock playthrough a while ago and it only took us like 5 hours to get the life crystals we needed. Was a little worse early game since low bait power but once you get the better rods and master bait from the angler it goes quickly.
WTB the un-nerfed flower boots that actually are useful instead of being pointless in 1.4
I feel like everyone has that "one" game, that they love so much they've played it to death so they just keep adding random challenges to it to refresh its replay value..
And I can't judge, because I do the same thing to the game that I love.. Doom 2.. (the old one)

Plantera tip:
Use a dart pistol or rifle with crystal darts to easily wipe out the tentacles
don't they respawntho
It's just scary how you laugh after losing to a boss
Phase 2 simple plantara just go up top and have perfect height platforms to not be in danger
Also just use teleports and pressure plates and platforms to always be Hermès boot running in one direction on platforms dodging all the attacks and shooting thru platforms

Hi, Gungnir!. I have really liked your content and the challenges that you do. I have an insane challenge for you, and I hope that you try this. Master mode. For the worthy. calamity death mode, iron heart, Defiled rune, and armageddon. This seems impossible, so If you do not do this, I completely understand.
You can only do the calamity one or the 1.4 one as mods are 1.3 (Maybe there’s a 1.4 mod?)
