Love this movie. The brotherhood between qing ming n boya is touching my heart.
I started to watch the movie because Mark is in it. I didn’t have any expectations and when it started I was exited for 2:12 hours! Starting from the actors, the surrounding, music, visuals! Awesome, amazing, just perfect movie! This one is my absolute favourite one now. I was so happy when I read there will be a sequel! The whole team deserves an Oscar for this MASTERPIECE!!!
the snow field scene is the saddest part in this movie i cried hard when i watched it. Mark Chao did an extremely great job here
I just wanna say that after watching it yesterday, I was amazed by the beauty of this production. Also, the actor who played Boya was incredibly awesome on his role

I am so pleased to see two of my favorite Chinese actors - Mark Chao and Deng Lun in the same project and both are playing leading roles. I hope Deng Lun gains more recognition he deserves and appears more in movies.

The production level blew me away....and the Princess's costume and look was so amazing in every scene!! I hope the cast and crew realize how much their work is respected !
I really don’t understand why the “critics” gave this movie such a low score on rotten tomatoes; it is basically perfect; the only thing that I would have added would have been an explanation of how demons,spirit protectors etc. worked (especially since Bo Ya’s transformation in a ghost/demon was confusing to say the least)
I think, Boya used his blood/spirit to wake the Vermillion Bird guardian, and the guardian fused with his conciousness to create the winged Boya avatar.
Deng Lun has the greatest acting skill.
I have watched all of his dramas.
He is really the best actor.
He is so talented in both acting and singing. His voice is amazing.
He is perfect.
I have seen Shouye He, the priest, in other movies and he has such a memorable face.
What I appreciated about this film is that it was not cluttered with too much dialogue that I was able to enjoy its visual appeal.

I laughed when they suggested this movie plagiarized MCUs Dr. Strange. The Asian filmmakers have been using mystical symbols and portals long before Hollywood got comfortable with using CGI. Where do you think the Western world learned about the ancient and mystical arts?

Exactly!!!! Dr. Strange borrowed that concept from Chinese mythology.
Everyone stay positive. Netflix has the wisdom to air the movie recognising the anticipations of Allen Deng n Mark's fans. Keep your fingers cross. Those critics are just jealous of the finished work of this movie and it's popularity after the premiers. Have faith in the one who controls the universe.
Am now checking Netflix daily to make sure the trailer is still up!!! Come on China, please dont take this down.

I watched the yin yang master 3rd times and never get bored bc visual effects and the actors so cool , i'm speacless .this my fav movie in 2021 ever . I hope everyone can enjoy watching them. Trust me its amazing

Excellent performance from Deng Lun and Mark Chao. Grabbed our attention from start to end. Beautiful well designed, classy wardrobe, with great details. Good plot. The kingdom, town and surrounding landscape is unique, lovely and authentic. Entertaining and enjoyable.

Just watched the movie and I am going to watch it again. Fantasy is my jam and for me, I am usually a person who prefers more subtle magic or majority practical FX blended with Special FX. My only exception is Chinese Fantasy movies. They are really top notch with their magic special effects and Dream of Eternity is probably the best I have seen. From the first minute to the last, the writing was heartbreaking, the set and costume design was Marvel level and the fight scenes are amazing. I can't wait for the sequel! I need it immediately.

日本版の晴明や博雅とは異なり、かっこいい2人を見ることが出来ました。また、時代背景やCGの描き方もすんなり入ってきて、物語に没頭することが出来た。個人的には夢枕獏先生が脚本まで関わってたのがビックリ。川井憲次さんの音楽も相変わらず最高。本当に素敵な作品です🥰🥰

I just watched this movie in Netflix. And i must say that this movie is not disappoint me. The visual of the movie, the casts, and the effects is really stunning. So beautiful from the beginning until the end. Although i must say that the story is just okay, but the story between the princess and the master is really heart breaking.
