Great video! Great camera work, clear instructions without all the bullshit commentary about how your dog is feeling or whatever most of the other people think I want to hear that I don't give a shit about. Thank you.
Anyone want to take me up on a bet? I bet this will become one of the BEST automotive CZcams channels out there!! The instructions, camera angles, with just a touch of dry humor, PERFECT!!!
He's got my vote. And I'm a picky SOB
@David Bradford LOL!!
It already is.
Chrisfix is awesome.
I like barricade because he has the same car as me. I'm just going to do everything he does.
Lol I have the same car so he’s changing all the things Iam, Chris fix is also good and any of those 1A auto guys they have so many videos
O.K. So I've watched a boat-load of 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee repair videos. After all, my ZJ is over 26 years old. All I have to do is look at it cross-wise and something breaks, but it still runs great. These are THE BEST repair videos I've seen for my Jeep. Extremely well articulated and demonstrated... without all the other B.S. Every so often when you show your face, I have to chuckle!
web lol. thanks
I have to agree, the clearest, easiest to follow vids on YT.
"we have no problems, only solutions!" great attitude, to the point and you are quite knowledgeable about the subject at hand. your 12 minute video is most other channels 30 min rambling.
I gotta tell you....this video is AWESOME! My old 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I paid $500 for is going to be a great 4WD for me for years to come....with MANY THANKS for your great videos! If you lived in Utah, I could score you NUMEROUS repair jobs! Your descriptions and camera angles are SUPERB!!! Keep it up!
I saw SO many of these. This one is top 3. Great camera work, great choice of tools at work, great lighting, thoughtful tips. BOSS.
Dude you kick ass! I go straight to your channel every time I'm working on my Jeep ZJ thank you man keep the videos coming
Thanks for all your help brother I'm a halfway decent mechanic.
I might be in over my head but I want to do the job myself so I'm going to go ahead and do it.
Love my Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo.
yoooooooo! thanks for doing this man! I was skeptical of doing it myself but I watched this a few times and knocked em out. Really appreciate stuff like this, saved me a few hundred bucks.
I can't thank you enough sir, you just helped me more than I could have wished for... Thanks to your video, I was able to do the job!
Needles to say, that I am a subscriber and I would love to support your channel. Why don't you have a "Donate" button?
This was the BEST tutorial for doing this job. The video was clear and so were the instructions! Loved the tips for tools needed and best practices before and after each step. Definitely subscribing and spreading to word. My DAS (Driveway Auto Shop) game will be stepping up to a new level. Thanks!!
AWESOME step-by-step on this job!! Not all the nut sizes were the same on my 94, but this still helped me massively with getting the job done. Thank you so much!!
Brook Balocca im glad I could help out👍
11:56 is the best part! You taught me how to do my power steering pump! Us ZJ owners owe a lot to you!
Damn man, Ive never heard anyone be able to explain something in such great detail while still being easy enough for almost anyone to understand.
Great how to video, great video angles with short to the point explanations. My Jeep will live on!
New to your channel but I am impressed and very thankful. Unlike other creators you narrate with exceptional detail and instructions that most just don't do!!!!! I'm very appreciative
Man you have the best Jepp ZJ tutorials on youtube. My youtube mechanic spirit guide!
There are no problems, only solutions. You are a gem. Thanks, man!

I'm doing an almost complete suspension on my 94. BJs, control arms with axle bushings, springs, shocks stab pins and front pads plus a 2" lift from Rough Country. I miss working in a shop and having a lift. Your videos are direct and concise good work.
Awesome job sir, best to the point no bs vid on this I could find. A couple fastener sizes were slightly different on my '93 but overall this vid was a huge help, thanks for uploading!
I've watched several of your videos on jeep repairs and I am impressed. The narrative, camera work and clear concise step by step instruction is first rate, no need to go to any other channel for jeep repair. Thanks
I've watched several of your how to videos on these jeeps. You've never let me down. Thank you for making these videos! Keep up the hard work

Thank-you man! That was a really clear refresher course on replacing ball joints. Great video! It helped me out a lot!
Changed out all my ball joints on my 96 ZJ. This video was how I learned what tool kit to get off amazon, and how to. Thanks man!
Im glad I could help out big bro. Thanks for watching
Dude your videos are THE BEST. I own a 98 ZJ and your page has been a GODSEND. The videos are so clean and well made too. No shaky footage or 5 minute spans of you turning a bolt like a lot of repair videos. Awesome tips on certain steps that only a tech would know. Really, really glad to have found your page. Keep doing your thing! Please!!!!
Dude, that was best mechanic how-to I've ever watched. Just picked up a ZJ to play with and I'll definitely be keeping tabs on your videos. Awesome job buddy.
I have plenty ZJ content on my channel and thank you
Thanks for all you do with The ZJ videos. You have definitely given me the confidence that I can go and get it done myself and learn in the process thanks again
Excellent video! I could not ask for anything more on the procedure. Many thanks!

Just bought a Cherokee and looked up this video to see how ball joint replacement is done. Can't say enough about the quality of this video! Excellent instructions, well delivered and very detailed about the tools needed, etc. Excellent work, young man!

So glad I found this channel. Excellent instruction, thanks
Bro I cannot tell you how happy I am with your video the way you describe things show things and give little tidbits such as using a bigger socket when removing the cotter pin inside, or showing a demonstration of total failure I can't ask for anything better thank you
You are a GREAT TEACHER ALL AROUND. Thank you
Yup... Was totally about to go outside and tear apart my whole suspension to replace it. Then realized I forgot to buy the ball joints. Thanks for confirming how much work it would be to just do them later
Seriously man... you're the best. I know I'm just echoing all the other comments here, but all your video's have been extremely beneficial!!
Love your videos and always nice to hear a lady asking if her man is okay. She got that love for ya
So far I’ve referred to your channel for all of my ZJ repairs. Last week was the front track bar. Up next is the steering gear and pitman arm, all control arm bushings, ball joints and tie rod and drag link. Keep up the awesome videos. 🤙🏻

Just wanted to say you did a spectacular job on this video... Good detail good video quality...
Working on my WJ now thanks for making it easy!
Fantastic video - I bought a very low mileage '96 GCL, but many bushings are dry and showing age. Your videos are a great source of piece-of-mind as I approach my routine maintenance. Thanks for the 'Fake Enthusiasm'. Perhaps in the future we can get a "You can do it!'.
I like that front end ball joint kit! Great video.
This happened to my Jeep Commander front passenger wheel 1 month ago when going over a RxR crossing. Catastrophic ball joint failure. Also destroyed my front CV axle. I wish I saw this beforehand! 👍👍 Excellent video
Glad your ok. It could have been worse
Excellent video. Very professional. Keep up the good work and share more video's. Thank you.
JoAnn Guida thanks
Maaaaaan thank you ! I don’t usually work on jeeps. Made it mad easy to follow
Damn good vidya! Text book right there. Very informative. I'll be watching all 93-98 ZJ video's.
Europe here, salt and rust. Took me hours to get the three 13mm bolts off. 1/2 inch 12 point socket worked the best. Had to hammer on a 12mm on two of them, and my impact wrench didn't have a chance of course. Thanks for the video though
Young man you are very explanatory , excellent.
Thank you
Awesome video! The only thing I did different was leave the new ball joints in my freezer overnight. The job went a lot quicker than if I hadn't watched the video.
I am a certified mechanic because of you
Another great video young man. Well done.
Excellent explanation clear and direct!
Watching from Ireland well done GREAT video.
Great video. Thx for including torque specs
Beginning to end. Direct, to the point, no fluff, muff or other stuff. Just the facts, jack. Git er DONE....Like McD's Im lovin it! Thanks BG! Im a sub lifer....

Dude! My '96 ZJ has 354k on it and I've watch many videos before operating on mine and this is the most informative and efficient videos yet. Think about using your impact wrench with a universal joint/socket to get that last inner hub bolt. Thank you!
Thank you for the explanation. I have to do the same work with my Land Rover discovery. Impact wrench and a very big ball joint extracteur 👍 a Hello from France 😉🇫🇷
Video was a big help! Thank you!
You absolutely make it look simple
Nice video I just ordered that kit so I could change my ball joints I was changing my shocks an realized that they needed change an my sway bar links had broken so I'm doing the hole front an getting the old stuff out at one time
