I remember when these outside stations still had wooden platforms in the 1960s. And Also their original iron fences on the platforms with the original signs.
Why do I get the feeling that this train goes faster than regular 6 trains??
No electronic devices just mechanical machines with compressed air for opening and closing the doors and brakes. The motorman controls the accelerator and brakes.
It's amazing to think that up until the late -1940s, practically all equipment on the IRT consisted ofLow Vs.
