Now as an adult a clip of this interview came up. She's amazing, so young and so sharp and funny at the same time. I can't believe she was mistaken for being other thing. Her gaze always looked like she was smart. And now watching this, she actually is quiet close of how I expected. But her calm confidence surprise me still. Makes me think of a deep red rose with her thorns at sight.

Just loving all the positive comments about Aishwarya. I am from same era and believe me she was criticised so much in her younger days as plastic etc.. it became worst after Salman Khan connection. There was constant comparison of Sushmita and Aishwarya, Sush was always considered cool, smart and all. She is best and I still adore her. As young generation we were shocked to see such beautiful girl on screen.
