Great job. I may carpet mine. I like to fish barefooted and even though carpet can get pretty hot sometimes. It's better than being branded by hot black metal !

Nice until it rains. You covered the drain plug and what I could see you never installed a drain & hose. Thus water will be running under your front deck, mold, mildew etc. I put a 3/4" PEX plug in the hole, drilled the plug out leaving a shoulder. Connect the pex plug to the pan, then connect vinyl tubing to drain the pan correctly. Use silicone to sill the plug to the pan. Its water tight. Just my 2 cents but it works well. Nice carpet job though.

I see the deck stringer was cut. Was it reinforced at all?

You didn't show the stainless mounting screws going in. How did you hide them under the carpeted sides? Also, is the deck all fiberglass or is it wood/fiberglass? Does it interfere with the rod storage area too much? It sure does look good though.

Thanks! The deck is sealed plywood. The screws are there, but the carpet fibers make them hard to see. No issues with rod locker storage at all.

AnglingAuthority.com Excellent. I'll be installing one on my Javelin, as soon as it comes out of winter storage. That's a nice looking install.

sorry to sound like a douche but by carpeting the pan you have created a ledge that you can constantly kick or trip over. They are made to be flush mounted...don't like that you did that. also, you cut through a deck stringer. You should have sealed that with either polyester resin or at least a silicone sealant
