1 -TO KNOW THE COLOR OF SOMETHING SAY:
for the singular: Di che colore è …? Di che colore è il tuo nuovo vestito?
for the plural: Di che colore sono …? E le scarpe di che colore sono?
2 - When preceded by the masculine determinative article, the adjective indicates the color noun:
In Italia il viola porta sfortuna
Il mio colore preferito è il verde.
3 - Light and dark adjectives are used to express color shades, after the color name is always in the masculine form.
- rosa chiaro/rosa scuro
- verde chiaro/verde scuro
4 - Other adjectives or nouns are often used to express the different shades of a color:
