Airs, barrels and drop ins for breakfast at Dbah Gold Coast

A mixed bag of air's, hacks and drop-in's, a staple breakfast at Duranbah beach Gold Coast. Some excellent surfing displayed from the locals as per usual for this part of the world, including ex professional surfer Nathan (Hog) Hedge!

Besides the 100's of people this spot seems pretty sick. My favorite type of waves.

Crowded surf is synonymous with all of southern gold coast beaches. This beach, (duranbah) is northern side of a river mouth with sand banks collecting behind the breakwall that slowly migrate north. Sand is dumped there regularly from dredging the Tweed. This, and the fact that it faces south means it is the most consistent wave in both swell and peaky barreling waves 😎
