Hi Davie congratulations on 40 years of fly tying i have been watching all your videos for alot of years I really like all your buzzers flys that you tie up I've copied them all and I've caught a lot of fish from your amazing buzzer designs and there really well design and thought out flies I caught a lot of fish on your buzzer and am a big fan of your pupa flies they all work amazing. Hello Davie, You mention the use of Fluoro-Red Flexi-Floss when tying the cheeks on the Hemoglobin Buzzer. This is not a Fulling Mill offering. Is the fluoro-red flexi floss from another supplier?

It's not from Fulling Mill as I don't have their red.. The problem I have is that I dye a lot of these flosses so I can't remember if I dyed this one or if it's Veniards Super Stretch floss as theirs is the brightest, they use the bright red dye which has a touch of fluorescence in it which gives it it's brightness..

Hi Davie. I tried this with Uni Flexx but the red didn’t show through. I pulled the white pretty tight. Any idea what might have gone wrong?
Hi Adrian,
The red Uni-flex is not just as bright as the flu-red super stretch floss though when the light hits it it will show, just make sure you wind the uni-flex floss tight so that it's clearer for the red to show through..
