He needs to hear drowning pool- let the bodies hit the floor
Exactly 💯
I third this comment. 🙋🏻♀️
Damn good song🔥
I saw Them at a radio fest back in the day and David sang with them it was awesome
Agreed!!
Stupify is one of my favorites by Disturbed, rock and funky. 🤟
“Stupify” is a BANGER!
🤘🤟✌️
I told you they were heavy metal. I really am glad my son turned me onto these guys. By the way I'm in my 50's and would loved to go to one of their concerts.
Honey im in my 50s & i dragged one of my sons to their conercts. It was lit. Skindred & sevendust opened for them.
They still tour it's not too late
Their concerts are always fun
I have seen them 4 times in two years and it’s just as fire as the first and I’m in my 50’s too 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I'm lucky enough to have seen them twice, live.
Their stage set-up was nothing particularly "mind-blowing"...
All they did was bring the house down with their musical talent 😜❤️
This song was used in the remake of "Dawn of the Dead". It was perfect for that movie.
Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine great cover lol
"Stricken" is a great song and video!!! Its my favorite of theirs.
Was looking for this comment, he definitely needs to check that out.
You have to Hear Their Song ( Hold on to Memories ), That's where David's Vocals Shine!!!
Idk if you would think it's still light if you heard the unedited version 🤣
I always forget the official video cuts it out. I was here for that part specifically. Drastically changes the tone of the entire song. The first time I heard it changed my entire outlook on them. From their first album through Believe to 10,000 Fists and Indestructible. Kind of fell off after that, Device was neat. They are still capable of putting out tracks that can hit all the right notes (Sound Of Silence in particular) but nothing can match the work they did on the first four albums.
Yea, the uneditted version provides a certain "light" on to the subject of the song.....LOL!
This song was in the movie Queen Of The Damned. Aliyah played the role of Akasha, and Stuart Townsend was the vampire Lestat
This song is dark but one of the hardest hitting Disturbed songs in their catalog. I’m hoping you’re doing the unedited version because if you didn’t you miss a large portion of the song. I got to see them in a small venue in Tulsa Oklahoma back in 2000 before they started selling out stadiums. It was awesome to get such a close up intimate show. Bro you need to go listen to the unedited version.
That's what I was thinking too ✌️
Disturbed was one of the biggest bands of the early 2000s and still big if not bigger. They are one of the few bands that got better each album
You can hear more of their music in the movie “ Queen of the Dammed “ it was a Vampire movie in the 90’s I believe
I hate that metal has a negative reputation and I'm thrilled you dove into this one.
For the same energy with an outstanding message, maybe try some Skillet? I'd suggest Feel Invincible or Awake and Alive for your first sample of that group. Both are bound to hit your workout playlist immediately!
Disturbed just have an amazing catalog! They are absolutely metal. Metal has many sub genres and styles. My personal favorite is The Light. They are absolutely incredible live!
I also love: Inside the Fire, The Vengeful One, Stricken, Indestructible, A Reason to Fight, Immortalized, Are You Ready, Who Taught You How to Hate.
Love Disturbed...Great song. ❤️ 🤣😅🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Memories"...please.
64 and i would love to see them live
54 gimpy and would join you!
LOL yup! When you reacted to Sound of Silence I was like, just wait until you hear him singing Down with the Sickness. The first time I ever heard the song was the movie Queen of the Dammed with Aaliyah. She was also a very well-known R&B singer who died I think soon after the movie in a plane crash. I love this song but I usually just listen to this cleaned-up version bc there's a break in the song and the lyrics are hard to handle at least for me.
Such an amazing band. David’s voice can be hard rock or super soft. Darkness is a beautiful one you need to watch.
Stricken, stupify are 2 others you should check out
Love love love! They're hard but if you listen they all have a message.
I used to not like this at all. I didn’t hear it for years and after Sound of Silence I checked it out again and love it now. I shocked myself 😂
Ten thousand fists is their favorite song of mine
They did use 2 versions of this song for the early 2000s version of the movie "dawn of the dead" this version was either in the intro or early in the movie and then there was a lounge singer cover version used in the credits
LOL You go from their smooth (yet dark) Sound of Silence, to Down With the Sickness? *cackles* Extremes, man! Honestly, I love 90% of Disturbed's music, but some are definitely not for the faint of heart - or folks who haven't got the ear for heavy metal ;) The uncensored version wouldn't be appropriate IMO for your mostly kid-friendly channel, but it's a piece of work. David Dramond's voice is so flexible he can raise hell and lift us to heaven in the same song!
A big following?! Yup, the band call us “Disturbed Ones”…..🤘🏻
I'm typing this before listening.... I'm hoping hoping hoping you did the right version. So many reactors do the more "sanitized" version, and frankly skipping the "bad" part ruins it completely. Not to blame YOU though! You wouldn't have known.
This was my first concert I went to,they was with with Korn and I couldn't walk for three days from being in that mosh pit!🤣🤘🔥
I love "The Light" by Disturbed
No one ever does the uncut version of this song… I don’t blame newcomers because, how would they know… but the uncut version changes the whole meaning of the song… 🔥
It's also a good thing because for the newcomers it can be a bit much and too dark and turn them off to the band in general. Better to ease them into it
@@nickdarago4708 sorry but that’s crap… do you listen to radio edit versions of all new music or watch the TV edit of all rated R movies before you listen to or watch the real versions.?.
@@rossperrine1267 it's really not though... For newcomers to heavy metal not just disturbed.. you can see it in their reactions and their reviews of that part. You're logic and comparison is what's crap
@@nickdarago4708 ok bud… we can disagree… I mean he’s a grown man… 2 months ago he “revisited” “kill you” by em… (maybe check that reaction) revisited which means he’s heard it before and still loves em… quaotimg abk “your missing out if it’s too graphic for you” plus if you’ve ever heard the “Kim” song from that album… disturbed is light compared to that album… I think he can handle it… and the cut part gives the meaning to that song… my opinion… I understand if it’s just to raw for some of you…
@@rossperrine1267 first off this is my first time watching this guy... I'm just going based off of other reaction videos I see.. secondly no the cut part doesn't give meaning. If anything it gives a conflicting message
Listen to Sound of Silence next. Whole other level of his talent.
Already did it
This song is played all over NFL stadiums so possibly a Chiefs game is where you’ve heard this. The HHH entrance song you’re thinking of is by Motörhead called “The Game” or “King of Kings”
“The One” with Jet Li was the movie you were probably thinking about. Great reaction! 👍🏻
Dang I was waiting for the part he goes off about his mom and they took that part out of this oh well loved the reaction
🤣🤣🤣 You made me choke on my drink of water when you mocked him for the first time. 🤣🤣🤣
The song was played in the movie Dawn of the Dead.
Omgosh dude,, Iron Maiden!!!
Run to the Hills
The Trooper
You HAVE to listen to these guys
Totally Amazing
shouldve done the album version, video cuts out an entire verse
This song was in the remake of Dawn of the Dead, but it was a cover by Richard Cheese.
Ooooh you need to check out the Queen of the Damned soundtrack! A lot of amazing vocals.
…they are SO GOOD live. So good. Unbelievably good.
This is the song from Queen of the damned the movie that aliyah the singer was in right before she died she was the head vampire she was bad a** in that movie.
Definitely not soft in the full version 😂. Unfortunately I had only heard the radio edit for years. When the unedited came on pandora when I first used it, I had both kids in the car😮 I had to nope out quick and was like what was that 😂
This was the one that put them on the map! So many others to check out, can't wait to see your reaction!
They cut out the best part of this song edited for the video I guess but you need to check out the studio version!
Stone cold Austin used one of their songs when he turned heel
Pieces of this song get used all over the place but I really wish you had done the longer version of this song this one has a part cut out of it and I would have loved to see you react to that part
Yes this song is on a bunch of movies it's awesome to listen to this while working out
Disturbed - sound of silence....really puts on a plinth how good David draimans voice really is
We here for you and them lol 😆
Check out the extended version 😂😂😂
You might have heard it in The Queen of the Damned. You should react to The Light when you get the chance. It's one of my favorite songs by Disturbed.
We all came here for his reaction to David's WA AH. Did not disappoint.
You need to look up the band called three doors down awesome band
Wooooh Damn! All time FAVEEE! whoaaaa Vocalllllsssss
Triple H intro is motorhead
They wrote Stone Cold Steve Austin's glass shattering entrance
I LOVE your reaction!
You didn't listen to the full video. There is a longer video of this song. This song was played in one of the nights of the living dead movies.
Admit it… you’re a rocker 🤘🏻🤘🏻💕
Disturbed es genial y David tiene una súper voz🤘
You have to hear the unedited version!!!!
This is why we love it! His voice is awesome, period. Sports! That’s where you know it, and the movie Queen of the Damned.
Seriously though check out their new song Do t Tell Me with Ann Wilson of Heart its 🤯
Oh, you about to enjoy alright 🤣👍
STUPIFY.... SHOUT LIVE 2000... STRICKEN.... PRAYER is my favorite
the light
They got their start singing for wrestling WWF
Was so hoping to get your reaction to the full song not the radio edit, but still great song
Yay!!! I'm early for once 🤣😂🤣
Triple H had all of his entrance songs done by Motorhead. Lenny was his good friend. Listen to The Game by Motorhead.
The song was on triple xxx
You didn't have the whole version on this one. The bridge is gone. But try the Disturbed song "Voices" or "Stupify".
Where have you been for the last 20 years lol-?? You need to listen to "Voices", that'll blow your mind as well....
Stricken is great too. But you really got to listen to the live on Conan version of Sound of Silence. It's the greatest.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nothing about Disturbed is light.
He should react to Citizen Soldier - Would Anyone Care, Who I Am, and Tattoos
Oh wah..ah ah ah
That part of the song you described as maintaining a "soft" feeling, allow me to perhaps give you my impression of what this is and why it keeps me from listening to "Hard Core," "Death Metal," or any of these other ultra heavy genres of rock. It's the melody. You listen to the song--not matter how hard it is--and you hear the melody coming through loud and strong. As you're listening to it it allows you to get sucked in and as it naturally builds in tempo and becomes, what musicians refer to as "forte" (which means "strong" or "hard") you can flow with the build as you allow it to take you further and further into it. And afterwards, it remains humming it in your head.
The other genres I mentioned and their ilk, to me, are too herky-jerky. The lyrics don't seem to compliment the music which takes you from one blast to the next blast without the continuity of a melody. For all I love about heavy metal, you would think I would step right into these other genres, but without a consistent through-line melody--they never lift me up and lead me step by step into a transcendental-like state
🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🔥🔥🔥🔥
Well the part I just mentioned ain't in this video. You really need to hear the un censored part it will put this song in a different perspective
Welcome to their signature sound! It's not The Sound Of Silence.
Listen Stupify - Disturbed
Aww it missed out the mother part!
Darkness by disturbed
This was great and did you ever do research on your place to see what happened there to let you have ghosts
This will be great 😂😂😂😂
If you do listen to a lyric video you can here the whole song, but know that MOTHER is about SOCIETY and how treats those of us who aren’t “NORMAL” I’m here for PENTATONIX but LOVE DISTURBED. I listen to both almost every day. Talk about whiplash 😂😂
You listened to the edited version. Listen to the one that is 45 seconds longer
Listen to Rammstein Du hast
You should listen to DJ Cummerbund - The Next Sickness
Oh this the "clean" version cause they edited a MAJOR ear f@$k 😂😂😂...the darkest part of the song.
Don’t know about it being on wrestling, but I always think of this bird jamming to that song when I hear it: czcams.com/users/shortsEdRUbkAq8KE?feature=share
If you listen to 98.9 The Rock some/ever you will hear it on there a lot in their commercial breaks.
and..... at the Chief's games. ❤💛❤ HOW BOUT THEM CHIEFS???!!!!!!!! ❤💛❤
Need to listen to Celtic Woman (Amazing Grace)promise you won't regret it
I like it..family 💯...🥷
Ugh. Sorry bud, you did the wrong version. I think this is one where it is worth you doing another reaction to the full version. (With lyrics). I love seeing the shocked face when the skipped part is reacted to. Seriously man, it's worth it. It makes it a very deep song.
As other comments say, unedited version! Gets DARK. I can't recommend a song cause there's way too many good ones to just give one. Just go see them in concert.
I gotta see an Alice in Chains reaction asap. Much love from the Carolinas
It was Batista that came out to this song
I highly recommend Stricken
From Queen of the Damned if you have watch that.
