- ITS TIME TO START ANOTHER TRUCK BUILD SERIES. IN THIS VIDEO I GO OVER TO ONE OF MY OTHER PROPERTIES AND START MOVING TRUCKS SO I CAN GET TO THE ONE I WANT. IT IS A 2005 5.9 CUMMINS. 6 SPEED MANUAL, 33,000LBS GVWR, 254K MILES, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, CRUISE CONTROL, TILT WHEEL, ENGINE BRAKE, AIR BRAKES AND SO ON. I HAVE LOTS OF THESE TRUCKS AND I AM READY TO BUILD THIS ONE INTO A DUMP TRUCK. I AM GOING TO DO SOME THINGS IN THIS BUILD THAT I HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE. ONE IS REPLACING CAB CORNERS AND ROCKERS. NEXT IS BODY FILLER AND PAINTING.
THIS TRUCK WILL BE FOR SALE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BUILD. IF SOMEONE COMES ALONG AND WANTS IT BEFORE ITS COMPLETED AND IM AT A POINT THAT IT IS COST EFFECTIVE TO SELL IT, I WILL. THEN I WILL JUST START ON ANOTHER ONE!

You’ll be much happier with OEM software. I got the Navistar ServiceMaxx software a couple years ago and it’s so nice being able to alter ecm settings. The older software ServiceMaxx is now free from international to download, since it’s old they no longer charge for it. It only works on older trucks tho, 2004 or 2005, maybe up to 2007. Also comes with the hydraulic ABS software, and a few other add ons. Just need a laptop and the J1708 adapter.
i think its time to upgrade. or.....get rid of a bunch of trucks and dont need it?

Hey JC I ran into the same on my pro link with the basic package kind of disappointing but I was poking around on the snapon website they offer a full Cummins package for the pro link It will do a lot of the insite functions but there isn’t anything like the insite but I am at a cross roads since I have the. Pro link already and I have. But it’s 1700 for the update. Great video as always

Given how much you have to move stuff around the yard (and it being a limited space), IMO, you should consider building a tug. Essentially, big engine, heavy construction, big wheels, no suspension, purely meant to lift and pull - all wrapped in a compact form that doesn't require you "spend" much time on complicated rigging and maneuvering.
or sell stuff and do 1 truck at a time
