Best comment wins....made love!
Seriously an analogue synth in the hands of a skilled man is a weapon.
this is very practical real demo of how this synth can sound in real music production 🎉🎉🎉 bravo!
I bought an original EDP Wasp back in 1981 and can confirm that the Behringer clone is pretty darn accurate. And I paid less for the Behringer a couple of years ago than I did for the original. Ok, it's not got a keyboard, but then again, nor did the original really😂
great work, def want one for myself
Sounds like a remix of Row, Fisherman Row. Heart of the Congas.
diggin your channel keep up the great work!!!!
I like it. This video really tells me if it's useful in the studio.
Sick
Thanks dude! 🙏🙏🙏
Sounds cool...
Thanks dude! It’s sooo dope! Gritty and dirty flavours!
@@Tarnaybeats Ya, I got one as well. Their pretty cool. Noticed ya put up a vid of the Cat earlier as well. Think im gonna go give it a look...
Yassss, subbed cuz you do awesome stuff and are awesome
Killer dude 👊
How does that work with the UAD interface? I wish that there would have been a walkthrough on that.
TarNay just entered the sting zoneee with this mad lil wasp synth
Ha haaaa!!! Thanks for the love!!! 🤙🤙🤙
BWASP
Hi mate, wicked video! I am considering buying the wasp, but I just needed to know can I use it in a DAW and automate it live. I know this question is stupid as you are doing this the whole video, but I use FL studio and am just wondering can I make a track and use the dials on the synth live to automate?
Good choice on the Wasp! It’s a great sounding synth! You can record you jamming on the synth twisting knobs as you go. But I don’t think you can adjust those automation over midi or USB. But maybe worth a little more digging. 🙏🤙🤙
Only notes can be recorded. No parameter automatization at all (not even pitch bend).
fuckin dope
damn this thing is nuttttssss
Thanks mang 🤙🤙🤙 glad ya dig it!
I asked for it and you delivered.
Yeeeeee!!! Cat coming next week too 😜
Tomorrow!!

Hey gang! its on sale now at sweetwater for 150.
Ok but how do you connect the keyboard to the module
Thanks for the comment. There’s a MIDI input on the front panel. I just plugged my midi keyboard in there. Or if you have an interface with midi I/O you can plug that up and sequence it right from your DAW. I hope that helps! 😊
TarNay was it amidi to midi?
I have the Akai MPK49 and the Arturia Keystep which both have Midi outputs. Midi is just the protocol that instruments and hardware use to “talk” to each other.
Is this on Spotify? Followed you over there as well
How do you get your wasp to work with the software?????
Please help
Heeey my dude!! I didn’t really use any software with it. But what I did do is have my Akai MPK49 midi keyboard connected to it using a midi cable. From there I could send midi from my DAW (Ableton) through the midi keyboard and into the Wasp.
If your audiobook interface has midi I/O on it then you can send midi to the wasp.
Otherwise the Wasp has ISB functionality. You might be able to send midi over USB.
I hope this helps 😊
TarNay I don’t have an audiobook interface and I’m also using FL studio would I be able to use the wasp to record sounds on FL? Thank you again for the reply
@@barhaikin8112 you will need an audio interface to record it into FL. But you can connect your PC to the Wasp using a USB cable. This will only send midi data and won’t carry audio. There’s plenty of info on it in the manual, including diagrams of setups.
You're funny!
Haha thanks my man! 🙏🙏🙏
I can’t get my wasp to make sound… as in i don’t know how to connect it to ableton to make it actually work… I have all my midi controllers plugged in and shit but the wasp just won’t effect the controllers… can anyone help
dope...
Hahaha thanks my dude! I’m Australian so we misuse words and make up words all the time. It’s all about context. Thanks for commenting!! 🙏🙏🤙🤙
@@Tarnaybeats Hi, can you answer this question ? Im confused about the oscillators in this synth. You said the oscillators are digital, but on the Behringer website it says the B Wasp Deluxe is "true to the original" and "Pure analog signal path". The original had Digital controlled oscillators, the oscillators themselves were not digital. But Behringer also says "Legendary hybrid synthesizer with dual digital OSC design". Is the oscillator sound generation on the Behringer WASP digital or analog ?
@@MrBeen992 both the original EDP Wasp Deluxe and Behringer clone have digital oscillators with all analogue path from there. VCF, VCA, etc.
At least that’s what it says on both the Behringer website for theirs and Vintage Synth on the EDP Wasp Deluxe.
Personally, I think that’s what adds to the quirkiness. The filter is lofi and the old age digital osc gives it grit.
@@Tarnaybeats Thanks. I read that it was one of the first synths with digital oscillators.
total tool
The wasp or me?
Hahaha
