all the places you're going need at least one week each ! Hopping around is good for "me here, me there"-snap shots but not for getting really in to something. It's bit like one-nigh stands.....

Thanks Mark! Honestly the pizza here in Jersey is better in our opinion but we may be biased. I honestly think the pizza's there are made for tourist and tourist only haha. There was a few spots that looked really good we didn't try them though because it was likely right after we were done eating we turned a corner and boom and delicious spot was right there.
@@MathersOnTheMap I tend to agree with you that NYC area makes the best pizza in the world. But the actual pasta from Italy in my opinion is much better than pasta made in the US.

My favorite city on the planet. It’s almost perfect the only downfall is they do have winter.
Also for future reference you can take a water taxi from the airport

@@MathersOnTheMap I really don’t remember but it made sense because we were staying at a canal front hotel so they took us straight to the hotel. But I am sure it was significantly more than the bus

I took one from my hotel door across the bay to the airport about 100 dollars.
Taxi from airport cost you 160 bucks, you better take the cheaper Alilaguna boat and spend this amount in restaurants .

BUT-BUT what about JAPAN-ha-ha-ha-ha/yea ITIALY you have walk miles for pasta or pizza /ha-ha -ha/but the dripping water is free-free-free/that is a PRETTY place/is the wine really good over there-is it better than AMERICAN wine-tell the truth-i will drank it/where too NEXT with that wonderful family /take care/thanks much

Watching you two cruising around the country in your van was fun, but seeing you flying around the world with seemingly no budget is unwatchable. Do you ever work?
Hey Scott, thanks for the comment I’m actually really intrigued by this. I’m curious what makes traveling full time internationally “unwatchable” versus traveling full time in a van?
You never had any insight to our budget before so there’s no difference between traveling in a van or by plane/hotel in the eyes of our viewer. I guess you could argue that traveling in a van is cheaper which I would agree with, but it’s a massive upfront investment + we use points and miles to fund our international adventures which we explain in a lot of our videos.
To answer your question, yes, we work. I’d argue I work twice as hard for Mathers On The Map, then I did when I worked in corporate. While we’re home we work on our rental properties and Taylor works as a nurse.
I may put a course together on how to accumulate a lot of points and miles to fund traveling instead of paying out of pocket… if you’re interested.
I was quite unimpressed with Venice myself. Dirty, smelly, cramped, packed with tourists and not that much of interest to see or do.
Guess I'm not enough of a romantic to appreciate it. ;)

As someone who has been to Venice dozens of times and still have not seen everything to say you don’t need much time tells me you didn’t research it before you went. You missed so much. Not only the sights, but the food as well. None of the food that you showed has anything to do with Venice. Such a shame.

Sorry you feel I was rude, that was not my intent at all. Just was being honest. I was excited to see a video about my favourite city but was left disappointed. To state at the end that you only need 2 days is doing such a disservice to this very beautiful and unique city. Reading through the other comments just reinforces my thoughts.
