📌 Who is Dimash Qudaibergen? (pronounced: Dee-mahsh Koo-di-bear-ghen)
Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings.
His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. They have long been known among the people of Kazakhstan and were awarded the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan: czcams.com/video/-Hhi1x4LqpE/video.html
According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate in musicology.. We have to call him soon Doctor Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto ( Interview with his voice teacher - czcams.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/video.html ) ... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian without accent (second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages, trains his voice for 3 hours every day... but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.
His current range is G0 - D8 (out of piano)! Video about his vocal range: czcams.com/video/7mo_MjbGSjw/video.html
At least, that show us Dimash. 😃
Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are not just limited to the tremendous range of over seven octaves and mixing of all musical genres, but it is the incredible command of his instrument, his voice and the emotional touch of people ... that brings us back again and again fascinates and surprises and again ... Such an assortment is a very rare gift and can only be achieved, maintained and perfected through tireless and never-ending training. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed.
Dimash always wanted to be on stage. As a young boy (3ys), he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run on stage when they bowed at the end, and he would do the same.
In his childhood Dimash trained Taekwondo. He achieves his enormous lung capacity through targeted swimming and diving training, he dribbles very well with a soccer ball - czcams.com/video/kt_lokOZLWw/video.html and even takes additional dance lessons for his Dears. Dimash's role models are Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and very important Michael Jackson.
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink ice drinks and he doesn't like socks. Hed love fire and water on stage, as a set of course. 🤣
A Dear gave him knee pads, but he says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃 Dimash looks good, is one of the 100 most beautiful men in the world and a model coveted around the world.
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He donates a lot of time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does so quietly. We only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.
Go on the journey. He will surprise you every time, touch your heart, feed your soul or push you off your chair. Tissues are always recommended, also for metal heads! Be careful and hold on tight when Dimash takes out the left earbud! Get to know Dimash, his singing, his diversity, his development, his human size, his humility, his love for his Dears ( that's what Dimash calls his fans - they are just as dear to him as his family - and that's many millions of women and men aged 9 to 90 all over the world).
What can he not do? Oops, he can't cook! 😃 Did I forgot something? Oh yes! He sings all the time, all day! He sings because he has to, it's his life and whenever he sings he lets us look into his heart and feel his soul.
Please, NEVER react to the videos from The World's Best!
For TV viewers, the songs are terribly mutilated and cut together. Most Dears boycott the videos, because: Dimash left the show before the finale because adults in his culture don't compete with children. The organizers lied to him when the contract was signed and they later humiliated him. Eyewitnesses here: czcams.com/video/XQgCJBnRvVk/video.html
A Dear said: „Dimash deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his tireless promotion of world peace to peoples around the world.“ One can only agree!
Thank you, all Dears, for your help (www helped too) ❤ Greetings from a Dear from Germany

For those who like information about Dimash's songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash reinvigorated the song (originally this song was sung in two octaves and Dimash takes it to 5 Octaves Vocal range). In addition, he added the final part, with an oriental technique (where he makes a particular sound by rapidly vibrating his voice, which is the traditional way of some oriental countries to mourn their dead, in this case the original singer). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the name of the band is A'Studio (Russia-based Kazakh pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The deceased singer (of whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboard player, which we see in the accompanying video with Dimash. Greetings from Panama.

@@rodrigorra3153 Yes. Dimash is very proud of his country and his culture, and he works to promote this, but this Artist is UNIQUE in the world. By unique we mean, not just once in a generation or once in a lifetime, but unmatched, thus far, in musical history, and perhaps more than a generation again before an equal is found, if at all. He works - successfully - to have his music heard and appreciated across: all genres, all languages, land borders and also cultural barriers. Dimash now has an international audience numbering in the hundreds of millions. This makes him a highly valued "Citizen of The World "- not only of Kazakhstan.

That band could have been a group when Dimash was a child. Anybody who performs with Dimash knows what they’re getting into. But dimash is a voice maestro. They would have collabed. The song was a dedication to the band lead singer who passed. The keyboardist wrote the song and asked Dimash to perform it in dedication. You’re worried about the band when they would have all collabed as one with Dimash. Since Dimash is who he is any duet trio band except Igor krutoy falls short of dimashs performance. Dimash was the front man. We’ve all seen this so many times. There is no way with all those riffs runs and foreign scale that these instrument ps could do more than just keep a beat and stay in tune. No way. This would have happened with any band when it comes to Dimashs Melodie’s. He is young here, early 20’s. But still a voice maestro. Many times I’ve wondered could a soul on earth male or female repeat what Dimash did here, the answer is, “No”.

Yamaha and various uprights. Accordions, hammods with Leslie, Hammond B3. An Assortment of synthesizers. I had never heard a melody anything like Dimash did there live. But there was an unusual scale. All of that 24 second singing would have been prepracticed with the keyboardist since he wrote the song. And since all of group on stage were AStudio presenting a dedication to their lead singer who had passed it was a group effort they collabed with Dimash. We Don’t Know AStudio, but dimash is fluent in Russian and khazak Dimash might have known this band. In the front row was Igor Kurtoy who stood for a standing ovation when others didn’t. Sometime after this or at this occasions he asked Dimash if they could collab together and offered his services as mentor producer composer and pianist. When Dimash said yes he came out of retirement.Igor gave Dimash the choice of 5 of 10 of his songs to sing. If you go to Dimashs channel if you see Igor’s name on the video Igor wrote it or collabed with Dimash. Igor is a Russian billionaire and was more confident than almost anybody who had a right to. In this part of the world Dimashs reputation and credentials were well know even to AStudio.,

The musicians on the stage were part of the original "A-Studio" Kazakh/Russian Band who first performed and recorded this song with lead singer Batyrkhan Shukenov, who had passed away in 2015. I would be happy to travel with Dimash and be one of his official flower carriers! Or maybe a dombra duster! I think the band tries to contract with the singer perhaps. Dimash does that sort of key change in a couple of songs. It's one of my favourite things!

❤❤❤❤❤ There was so much going on at the end that it's easy to miss the fact that Dimash went 23 seconds without taking a breath!
If you like to hear key changes you will love Adagio from The Singer. Adagio is originally a Lara Fabian song and Dimash sang it for The Singer. It was an excellent choice as he not only won the competition for that week but Lara Fabian saw the performance and congratulated Dimash on either Instagram or Twitter. Lara and Dimash ended up performing together years after The Singer.

Near the end, after the folk yodel, chant, throat singing, whatever you choose to call it (which on its own is amazing), Dimash then takes a breath and gives us a belt, another breath and second belt, another breath and THEN the 3rd belt (video glitch after) and into a set of runs which last 23+ seconds on ONE breath. Utterly unbelievable. Looking fwd to more Dimash reactions from you. Thanks again.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. That guitar player looked completely shocked and in disbelief didn't he? It's a common expression on people's faces when they hear Dimash sing. A similar expression can be seen on one of the musician's faces during Dimash's performance of SOS in The Singer competition in 2017, except that guy was standing there stock still with his mouth open. You can find that song here with English subtitles and a bit of interesting backstory: czcams.com/video/bDX3FhmyNac/video.html This is the song that launched his career at first in China and then around the world.
It is a French song from a musical called Starmania. The hero is bending over the murdered body of his girlfriend, singing of how he never felt comfortable in his body, he wants to fly into the sky like a bird as maybe the world would look more beautiful from above, he wants to transform into another lifeform, he feels something from another world drawing him upwards. He finishes the song by telling his dead girl to go to sleep, to sleep like a child.
It is beautiful, powerful and shocking.

The guitarists definitely look like they’re still in rehearsal. You’ll see a lot more of the bald percussionist-he’s still backing up Dimash these days. The keyboard player is the man who composed this song. And the guy in the white shirt at the end, starting the standing O, is Igor Krutoy, who was semi-retired at the time. He came out of retirement after this to work with Dimash. One of their first collaborations is Ogni Pietra (Olympico), which you might want to hear next (although Opera 2 is a lot of fun and worth watching-Dimash is normally quite dramatic and serious, but he’s kind of cheeky in that, playing with the audience-it’s a likable side of him).
    Great reaction!
For a change of pace, I highly recommend you check out The Bass Gang’s latest release, Centuries, with Jonathan Young. I’ve been following the group since their first releases (they put out four songs at a time-this is literally their 2nd drop), which were quite good, but I can’t believe what they’ve accomplished with Centuries, and if you’re not familiar with Jonathan Young, this is a great intro. The first song in this drop is Mad World, with Elliott Robinson, who is also a wonderful vocalist.

OMG I loved both your reactions of DIMASH. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Don't you dare stop reacting to him. Don't watch his new stuff yet, there is so many good ones from 2017/2018, so you can see him evolve. "Adagio" in the singer 2017 is incredible, same with "Show Must Go On" (Queen Cover, take into consideration at this point Dimash didn't speak English yet so the pronunciation is not perfect but today he does speak English and gradually improved considerably).
Also, if you haven't heard of Pentatonix, or you did but you never heard anything from them, I recommend you to dive on that as well starting with the song "Hallelujah", yeah the one everyone knows. They are a capella. 5 members, one who does most of the beatboxing which is out of this world and also sings. Anyways I loved this, loved this, please don't be like many reactors who stop reacting to someone people like and then months after they go back to it and complain that people is not watching anymore. If the videos are not regularly (Nothing crazy but something like at least per month) uploaded, most people unsubscribe (The ones that are there specifically for Dimash or X artist).
    I loved your reactions!
If you have any problems with copyrights with some of these videos, don't cut them until they make no sense, blur the videos or add pauses here and there. Anyways it is all to help, hopefully you don't take anything the wrong way, I have no ill intentions.
    Good luck! Subbed!

For those who like information about Dimas' songs:
Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.
    Hugs from Brazil!

Cover of Sinful Passion by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters. Look at their astonished faces after Dimash´s melisma of 24 seconds at 9:00 (or 10:40) and 9:50 (or 10:49)
The farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che". It is not yodeling but an ethnic technique relative to yodeling but needs more control on the notes you sing than in yodeling.

The haters, and even some CZcams reactors, thought he was lip syncing. He has since sung this song during his various concerts and he purposely will change little intonations, or the ending, just to prove that he’s singing live. After receiving well-deserved flowers from fans, Dimash thanked the A Studio group, as well as its leader Baigali Serkebaev, a pianist, composer, one of the authors of the music for this song. It was Dimash's performance in Sochi (Russia) at the New Wave 2018, a festival and competition for young performers of a popular song. The singer from Kazakhstan was invited to perform at the prestigious musical event as a guest of honor after his great success at the Singer TV competition in China. On September 5, 2018, the anniversary creative concert of the "A Studio" group took place on the New Wave, and Dimash took part in it with the song Sinful Passion. Dimash is 24 years old here.
This song was first performed in 1998 by the still young Kazakh group "A Studio", soloist Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics were composed by the famous Russian poet Ilya Reznik. A video clip has been released. Two years later, Batyrkhan left the group, and in 2015 he died of a heart attack. And now, 20 years later, the composition “Sinful Passion” received a new sound with the power of Dimash’s voice and talent.

I hear and see this performance as perfection! Great reaction! 👏👏👏👏👏 My feeling of how much I love this song is, Dimash should never stop singing this song at his concerts. However, I think he has.😢

angela franzin I understand. It’s just that, I love the song and the way Dimash sings it. I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself. Dimash has a beautiful voice without a doubt!!!! I saw him in NYC, my husband and I couldn’t believe how gorgeous his voice was and sounded. Thank you for your response!😊

I believe Dimash wants to reduce the number of covers he performs in his concerts. But beyond that, this is not a song for concerts. Too stressful for the vocal cords.

And, that isn't even his highest note. 😲 😂 Suggest "Love is like a dream" or "Love Of Tired Swans"... BEFORE moving on to his more Operatic "Ogni Pietro/Olympico". He also has a range of English songs. Most "Pop-style" is probably "Screaming". He also has themes for Movies. One thing to watch with Dimash and.. also Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen, Ayanga (and other Chinese/Eastern singers) is they like dramatic pauses in their songs, before going on to finish the song. Dimash's "Love is like a dream" and Hua Chenyu's "Fake Monk" (recommend this) are prime examples of that. Where the audience think the song is finished, until it starts up again. ALWAYS check you are at the end of a performance. (Its not a common technique in the West). Another great Reaction.

He doesn’t always sing this song the same so the musicians may need to give him space to freestyle

This was the first time Igor Krutoy heard Dimash. He was in the white shirt applauding at the end. Dimash sang a song composed by the band that had not been sung since the original singer died. Igor came out of semi-retirement and the rest his wonderful history.
