    Rear cylinder deactivation is for when you are at a stop and the headers are roasting your nuts. When it cuts those cylinders, then less heat is radiated

      And every time he stopped during this ride it activated but didn’t notice. Bet it’s seemless

    From a design point of view, I like how they have gone back to the rear fold away footpegs.

    Subscribed, loved this quick and informative the video was. Interested in this bike and the scrambler sport pro

      Glad you enjoyed the video! Are you leaning more towards the Diavel or the Scrambler?

    It wouldn’t surprise me if the cylinder deactivation can be tuned out/off by the aftermarket in the future

    It’s going to be a very polarizing bike. I did not like the previous model but this is a sexy beast to me

    Keeps your nuts cool if you’re doing a lot of traffic/city driving. The rear piston heads are aimed directly at your crotch. While firing they get HOT. It’s a good feature in my mind. Everyone complained about Ducati heat before.

    I still like the 1260S but need to see the V4 in the real but probably will like the newest and the greatest. This Diavel V4. Looking forward to First rides and longer term reviews

    I will wait definitely for the S Version I am driving the 1260S modified completely and if I switch to the newer one It will be the S again. Have the Multistrada V4S Full but I wished I was more patiently waiting for the Pikes Peak. I learned from my mistakes.

    agreed, i don’t like that two cylinder power down either.
    two cylinders are wearing out faster than the other two. honestly, who can’t afford to put gas in a bike.
    is there a setting to turn that feature off ?

      @TylerCharest  Před rokem +1

      Im not sure if it can be turned off easily, but I’m guessing that shops will figure out how to reprogram the ecu to deactivate it 🤷‍♂️

    Looks suspiciously like a VMAX 1700 with an OEM 240 rear kit and boulevard windscreen.

  • @giedriusbaliukevicius5324

    V2 just looks much more better!

    • @TylerCharest
      @TylerCharest  Před rokem

      I’m still a big fan of the V2, definitely a good looking bike 👌

    Best thing? No timing belts to change so frequently

  • @batavusfietsbel
    @batavusfietsbel Před rokem

    It looks a bit over-designed. The v2 is just RAW!

  • @pega7us

    Tank apart, looks more like a Japanese bike than the V2.

    Some nice features (quad exhaust, fold away passenger pegs, tail lights) but overall looks are worse than old design. It looks more naked bike generic. Junky. Theres no performance advantage in real world. Smoother engine yes but less raw and visceral. I test rode one. The cylinder deactivation is STUPID. Its a motorcycle, Ducati! And at $27K or $30K out the door after taxes for the BASE MODEL, no thanks. I’ll keep my old Diavel.

    Hope they are working on a Xdiavel V4s. The Xdiavel looks way better than the Diavel
