Am I the only one who gets genuinely upset when the difference between a regular Pokémon and its shiny version are nearly identical? Like GameFreak could have at least tried to make it look good
If you are talking about farfeth'd Gamefreak didn't pick the colours. They could have changed it but that would probably piss off some people
Sirfetch’d is a toy ducky so it makes up for it
I have shiny beartic and it is almost identical to the regular one
They do do custom shiny sprites now (instead of the coding), they’ve done that since Gen 5 or 6.
And this Farfetch’d is technically a new pokemon due to it being a new form; so yes, this shiny could have been better

@@subpar3462 A Shiny Fail is when you fail to catch a shiny Pokémon, not finding a shiny Pokémon which is different from your target. So that's not a fail, that's a phase.

Right after he says he has the shiny charm to max out his odds. Shiny charm doesn’t mean any random shiny is full odds.
True it's still pretty rare to get 2 of them without max odds
And he catched it witch lowers the odds naturally. If he had catched one - it not FULL Odds.
xxTWARxx I literally got two shiny pancham legit full odds within 30 encounters after 5000 random encounters only hunting sizzlipede .. I’m LITCHERALLY 100 hours in and 18-19k random encounters and haven’t encountered a single shiny since and sizzlipede shiny is literally saying fk me.. I hate my life right now Tbh.. it’s soul crushingly boring and I can’t stop

@Ecstatic Luigi He/she just wants to point out that Reversal misunderstood the term "full odds", if you have the shiny charm then the only Pokémon that can theoretically be "full odds" are the fossils and the gift Pokémon, correct me if I'm wrong.

@@goldfist8711 Sorry I didn't see your reply ! You can find it as a grass encounter on route 4 and in a couple of places in the wild area, Brige Field is usually where I'm hunting it (but it's not there with all weathers)

You can get a Yamper with Ball Fetchd, and when the pokemon breaks out of the Beast ball, you actually get the ball back
To evolve galarian farfetched, I went against a metapod in the wild area because all they use is Harden. Since I did this after beating the game, it was considerably easy to get my crits without using any items but the Leek.
I also caught a full odds Shiny Stufful on Sword, it was only my 9th Stufful and I wasn't hunting for it

Overworld encounters are generated before you encounter them so if anything, you accidentally hitting the exact right stufful without running too far away making it despawn is super lucky since the thing was gonna be shiny regardless.

This is a little late, but one time I was just in the wild area just walking around when I found a shiny yamper and gave it to my brother when it evolved. When I first started the encounter I didn’t notice it was shiny. After turning the switch off my brain said “wait, was that me or was that shiny?” I turned the switch back on to check and it turned out to be shiny!

No. That is his video editing. Look at his face cam. His body position changes between the time it was sent out and when the move was performed.

That's not an ultra shiny, an ultra shiny for wild encounters is the star shiny.

First off these aren't ultra shiny. The odds for this are much higher than you think. He had the charm and farfetch'd was at max odds of ~1/512.4
He also encountered those within 5 encounters and that makes it a bit more likely than a back to back.
For the odds: the formula is =((65521/65536(1-(4095/4096)^3))*(65521/65536(1-(4095/4096)^8))*((4095/4096)^9))/10
The end result is ~1/7,016,798
About 1 in 7 millions. This is still more common than finding a star shiny in the wild, which is roughly 1 in 17.8 millions.

When you reach 500 of that species of Pokémon battled, you can run away from the next ones you see, but if you knock out that species of Pokémon, you are likely to see more Pokémon of that species, so it's kinda up to your choice.

Does anyone know if there is a point to continue to knock out the Pokemon after 500?
There is a chance the pokemon you knock out will almost immediately spawn again (new encounter) if you continue to knock them out.
@@andersalstrup3077 Ahh, okay. I'm shiny hunting Impidimp atm (knocked out 501). I think there is no point for me then to knock out any more Impidimps since you can be guaranteed find Impidimp in Glimwood Tangle. Was able to find a shiny Impidimp first time encounter it in Glimwood, but was able to accidentally one-hit it :c Liked it so much as shiny, so trying to shiny hunt it. My patience is running out soon..
