i own a iPhone 7, i love it but with working on the farm if you Put it in your pocket dirt collectes in you charging port. When you are going to charge it at night Somtimes it doesn’t charge becous of that. But its a geat phone but make Shure that you protect it becous a have gone trough 3 screenprotectors allready by just having it in my pocket at work. Nice video George love to see the Fendt working!
I would recommend the Huawei P Smart. I've got one on a contract it's a very good phone, the battery lasts a life time, and it's got 2 cameras on the back. It's a cracking phone!
I’ve had iPhones since the iPhone 3 and always keep them in otter box or gorilla glass cases never had a broken screen or any problems currently got a 5s that’s over 2 years old and will most likely replace it with another iPhone when it eventually gets tired but that’s probably another year or so away yet Great videos really enjoy your content thanks
Another great video. The only advantage Iphones and tablets etc have (in my opinion lol) is they have better privacy settings. You may have seen in the news about the Facebook app tracking regular telephone calls and text messages. That is because Android allows app developers open access to all the users data and usage information. I-stuff doesn't.

Soil is sandy in Sandy squire! I've had a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact for the last two years, amazing phone! Battery life is amazing and the camera is outstanding. Have a look at their new range, I think its called the ZX. Had iPhones for years until i got fed up with them, never looked back since. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos georgey boy!
Make sure you don't get stuck or you will have the same problem as a couple years ago. We tend to plough 10 days into April for the land to dry more and it's easer seeing as we are lambing now.

Had 4 iPhones a 3GS, a 4S, a 5S and now on a 7 plus love em never had a problem with any of em and they get some hammer with me. Also have an iPad and it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought after my JD 7710 !.
If You think the rice and lowering buttom for the rear liftarms is inconvinient You can activate the "automatic" on the right and You will get the lowering and raising on the Go and End buttoms on the handle :)

Hi George, really enjoyable video and nice to see that you have been able to get on with a bit when the weather allows terrible spring so far. As far as the Apple or not question I can not recommend Apple products at all. I have had iPhones and an iPad both of which are over priced, you can not upgrade components (as you can with windows based machines), if they break down the repair costs are pure extortion and on top of that it does not take long before they start to slow down performance wise and the battery's stop holding charges. You mentioned Samsung and that will be my choice when I upgrade next. A decent Samsung product can do anything a iPhone can (except Apple only apps of course) and for less cost. Only my view of course.

I got a iPhone se with 64gb and it’s fine. Only problem is battery is not great any more. It’s about 1 year old now and battery don’t hold like it used to. But I think it’s the same with any phone after about a year.
Love to watch your farming videos. Have you ever considered making a series for school kids? Today so few school kids know about farming. What better way to learn what farmers do, how and why, than watching a series of youtube video on taking care of livestock and field work.
iPhones are great and easy to use, I’ve only had apple which is why I like them and find it easy to use. They both do the same and it’s mainly personal preference.

I have to be honest George I'm Apple all the way. Do all my stuff on I pad, got I phone 6 and a Mac. The I cloud system is brill, every photo or vid is instantly uploaded and available on any apple device to mess with. It also makes memory on the I pad infinite. You set it to upload auto to I cloud when the memory gets full and there's always plenty of space. If you want to download a vid to mess with it don't take bugger all to be back in the memory again automaticly. Get a 64 gb or larger capacity if you can it's faster then. Didn't use to like app,e stuff, but I'm a total convert now. I do all my editing on I pad in I movie 👍
I have an iPhone 7 and it is very good. It is very reliable and it has never let me down. Two of my family members have ipads and iphones and they also like it.

Great video I recommend the Motorola g5+ it's fairly cheap ,quick and easy to use , and a decent camera. I used to have an iPod touch and after 2years the battery was dead and only lasted 30 mins and unlike a android where u can rip out the old battery and stick a new one in. Hope you have a happy Easter hope the weather pickes up for spring drilling.

I'm a Samsung man myself (S8 and Tab2 for drone). Can set it how you want, rather than Apple disctating how you should do stuf. All this stuff about Ipad/Iphone having all your info available on mulitple devices is nothing new. Can do that on abny device.

There are many other equally capable phones on the market For me you can't beat a Samsung or LG which both come from same factory You also have the HTC and Google phones Never liked Apple iPhones, totally controlled by Apple as to what you can do, poor battery life, expensive repairs, unreliable, over priced and iOS operating menu is not as easy or straightforward as Android. Go Android as you will have the control to do as you wish, your Samsung tab should be a good comparison example for you. Everyone I know who has used Apple pròducts, Mac, iPad, iPhones have changed to Android. I am with you on this one 100% and my phone is a Samsung galaxy 7.
Worth looking at the CAT tough phones. I've got the S41. Runs standard android, quick enough, decent cameras although they're not so good in fading light and its got a slot for an SD card. Doesn't hurt that its waterproof and drop proof. Still have to take care of it but if you do drop it in concrete or a puddle its not buggered. The battery lasts about 16 hours for me with about 40% left. Not to bad for £360 quid. There's a cheaper one that isn't quite so tough or a more expensive one that is a bit tougher and has a thermal camera in it, if you compare it by money that's about the same as the iPhone.
I don't like the android system to use prefer apple. Had the iPhone 7 for just over a year now and its good as new got a life proof on it. Dropped it out the tractor multiple times no cracks. Battery is still fine. It's all personal preference to what phone you like
iPhones imo are great I have had my iPhone 6s for 2 and a half years and touch wood I’ve had no issues with it running slow or have issues running out of storage also they are as simple to use as it gets
I’m a huge Apple fan although you have to go in knowing a few things. They’re very much a closed system, and it’s all designed to work together. If you’re not willing to adopt it all in my opinion it’s not worth it. I’m on a iPhone 6s and although I could upgrade I’m sticking with it, great phone, great camera and it works. It might not be the best (and I think that applies to all Apple stuff) but it just works. Likewise I just got a new MacBook Pro, it’s my 7th Mac and probably the best yet. Not to say the other offerings aren’t good but if you don’t want to faff with getting stuff to work they’re the only way to go.
Good video, George. Always liked the Fendt 724. As for phones - my elderly iPhone5 is just had its Home button die on me so I'm also looking into new ones. Apple are quality but way overpriced and their Appstore is a strict closed shop affair without going through the hassle of jailbreaking, so you don't get nearly the range of apps you get on Android. Apple have admitted that they slow down their devices over time in an attempt to increase battery life. The Samsung Galaxys are top quality but again megabucks and look a bit fragile to me anyway. Looking at roughy toughy phones like the BlackView BV8000pro or the Ulefone Octa. Both run Android 7. You can get those 2 for about £250+ unlocked. Oogles of memory and a big battery life. 4G/Wifi/Bluetooth etc, etc
P.S. Check out end screens for links to videos. I've never used them until the other day, when I linked Martin's video on the Mystery Engine. Much more easily seen than links in the comments. Which most people seem to ignore, or don't bother looking lol.
Thanks George. It does, and I know why. When you learn something, time appears to slow down. Why the mornings are longer than the afternoons. Why the journey there is longer than the journey back. So as you get older, you've less to learn, hence time appears to go faster.
Apple is good for the most part but the prices are too high as my iPhone was 1k, my mac was the same price and my watch was like 600 but when you use they are great!
great vid pal, on the Apple/Iphone front avoid, such a pain. everything is through their eco system and is terrible. if you want a phone go for an android, i have the new Galaxy S9 and its great. apple computer wise they are also shocking. cant upgrade and cost way too much. cant wait for more Ford vids and keep up the great work.
iPhones are the one. They just work and are very simple to use. If they go wrong the support from Apple is also unbeatable. They will happily replace products if they go wrong. There products all come with a 1 year warrantee. Yes they are more expensive but your paying for the software as much as the hardware as they make both unlike other companies. Your also paying for the 5 years of updates you get unlike android you only get one or two. I am getting new features added to my 4 year old iPhone which is still working as new.

Me and my family have been using Apple products since 2010 and can’t fault them, my wife’s iPad is 6 years old not a moments trouble. We all have iPhones, 4 of them and we wouldn’t want any other brand. My kids are 18 and 21 had iPhones since they fairly young they too don’t want anything else. If you just want a simple phone and use a tablet/computer for internet stuff then don’t get a iPhone, if you want a phone to do everything well then iPhones are great 👍🏻
Samsung all the way. Used to love Nokia before Microsoft got their hands on them. Tried an Iphone after nokia but only lasted 10 month and replaced it with the Samsung galaxy s5 that I still have today and the battery is still going strong.
Oh an get an iPhone 4 that's what I'm using ITS BRILLIANT apart from the glitching,randomly Dying but I drop it on the tractors on the floor on chains everything without a case and it has never broke (I've jinxed my phone now)
My first Apple product was an iPhone 3G; it was fabulous but almost useless as a phone and the battery lasted a few hours if used at all. I've had four more iPhones since and have had variable experiences, they are not made as well as the price suggests, I get mine "free" on contract, but my son's Galaxy something, water-proof, shock proof two years before any iPhone variant with better camera and a micro SD port ~ and on 4G with Vodafone leaves my 3-iPhone 4G back in the dial up stage speeds. How much the latter is the phone, the service or other is debatable the 3 technician did not believe that from the same tower the Vodafone was getting the superior speeds ~ but it was, so there are many "features" on Apple products that are no up to speck but go unreported because too few actually recognise a difference. If I was not getting my iPhone "free" I'd not be buying them and have no other Apple product, if my experience is replicated on other Apple products, seemingly so according to your post, then my decision not to buy Apple products has been borne out.

It's been a seriously wet start to spring but I'd rather it wet now than the summer so I guess we all need to just weather it out (pun intended)

Maybe the Samsung xcover serie is something to look into for you. I got a huawei P8 lite atm and it's awesome for the price!
Is that a philipwatkins front weight? If so i live 2 minutes away from where their based, I did harvest for the agriculture side of that farm

All the Deutz engines are faulty and don't live long for it price in Fendt tractor. What is wrong with JCB?

If you just want a simple phone and use a tablet/computer for internet stuff then don’t get a iPhone, if you want a phone to do everything well then iPhones are great 👍🏻

Samsung all the way. Used to love Nokia before Microsoft got their hands on them.
Tried an Iphone after nokia but only lasted 10 month and replaced it with the Samsung galaxy s5 that I still have today and the battery is still going strong.

Oh an get an iPhone 4 that's what I'm using ITS BRILLIANT apart from the glitching,randomly Dying but I drop it on the tractors on the floor on chains everything without a case and it has never broke (I've jinxed my phone now)
My first Apple product was an iPhone 3G; it was fabulous but almost useless as a phone and the battery lasted a few hours if used at all. I've had four more iPhones since and have had variable experiences, they are not made as well as the price suggests, I get mine "free" on contract, but my son's Galaxy something, water-proof, shock proof two years before any iPhone variant with better camera and a micro SD port ~ and on 4G with Vodafone leaves my 3-iPhone 4G back in the dial up stage speeds.
How much the latter is the phone, the service or other is debatable the 3 technician did not believe that from the same tower the Vodafone was getting the superior speeds ~ but it was, so there are many "features" on Apple products that are no up to speck but go unreported because too few actually recognise a difference.
If I was not getting my iPhone "free" I'd not be buying them and have no other Apple product, if my experience is replicated on other Apple products, seemingly so according to your post, then my decision not to buy Apple products has been borne out.
