How to replace Toyota Tacoma gas door

Hello everyone hope this video was of help! It definitely FIXED the issue I was having were I could no longer close my gas door and it was unaligned. HERE IS THE LINK TO GAS DOOR FOR TACOMA:

Wow! I’ve got a 2017 and I thought I was the only one with this problem with my fuel filler cap 😂 I’ve got the same dent like yours but I’ve managed to open it fully with some bending lol.
I’ve went with my crooked door for about 2 years and I think it’s time to change it out. Your video was extremely helpful. Thank you

Wow man that’s exactly what happened to me, I walked towards the truck and the door was jacked up, had to change it I couldn’t get gas in, yeah man let’s get that door replaced! Supper easy!

It blows my mind that Toyota didn't fix this issue with the 2016 redesign. Same exact thing is going on with my parents' 2015. Might do what you did instead of installing new rivets

Thank you for the video, im at this point as well where i need to replace it.
2 things to add, you can get the OEM spray paint by your VIN number and spray paint it and to avoid this situation in the future lubricate the hinge annually ( like fucking religiously).

How hard was it to reach behind to put the wing nuts on? Did you need that long of a bolt?
