5th gen Preludes are such timeless beauties to look at and one of my favorite Hondas to own - I had both the Base and the SH models (US spec). The SH was great because of the ATTS sending more torque to the outer wheels giving it RWD-like characteristics during cornering. By far my favorite generation out of all generations released.

    • @jordanjoestar8839

Even better is a base model with an LSD. ATTS adds weight and a solid percentage of failures and issues. Many people delete it for that reason. I have cornet balanced Eibach suspension on my base model and I can actually get the rear to step out in sharp corners when I throw the car into them hard enough.

I miss my 97 Vtir Prelude. It's long gone now but remember when I took it for a test drive before I bought it. Great video as always mate! However, I don’t know if I can agree with you saying 90’s Hondas are lacking interior quality. For their time they were amazing! 90’s Hondas paved the way for their reputation of being the BMW of the east. But either way, different strokes for different folks! I owned a top of the range, 2001, Vti-R Prelude and absolutely loved it! Vtec came on hard thanks to the H22 and the steering and handling were both very direct through the back roads. Had the dicky beige leather interior though which was a nightmare to try and keep clean.

Might have been good in the day (I agree with that) but 25-30 years removed? Different story. That said, the BB6 Prelude and CD5 Accord have been the two exceptions. @@KiwiCarLife I don't think so. Prelude is awesome, but still only 100kg lighter than accord. Engine wise, k24 has a lot more potential than H22a. And in terms of chassis, keep in mind you only have springs with stock suspension ... And already have a very competent behaviour. Serious accords preparations usually have: coilovers, rear and front stability bars, poliuretan silent blocks, and a lot of various reforcement bars along the chassis, and of course, LSD. an accord with that is a serious weapon. 4gen prelude are a more serious rival in terms of chassis, which are, practically an integra

I want to say.Im light Honda fun,but respect..I drive Subaru impreza 99 light redizign and i know what Japan is......Nsx is in my top cars. But im in love with Accord, and i always when looking my dream is 2.4 typeS or but must be manual........Years goes,I love Accords but best was in my neighbourhoud(mine) When i buy her i was "damaged" and AT is great. But i want to put manual ecause car is new. In Serbia they say Honda AT gearbox is complicated,NO...I say this maybe samones help.Trainsmission oil and filter original(30e).Very practical and fast. When we do service my friend was impressed because he is young my Honda is onlyone he do AT service. He tells my in hes Bmw 520d e60 last year is so complicated and you buys something like big filter and something else.He tells me 800e is price to do right.Bmw have issuses which Honda does but 1 in ten days but ii remember all.He only change oil and that is but im not mechanic.I was so excised because he is under cl9 and told me SHe is like a baby never crashed. All perfect. We do brakes and..I must say Honda avg is 18-20 She drink like..Gasoline crize,we get bad fuel.Yesterday my friend says me auto-gas is off.Because he works in station...I think Honda is ok because she runs great but comsumtion in manual mode FACT 3-5l down....I have a offer.Give Accord and be payed+Bmw 335i or give Rover+2500e to 335.I think they have a big engine problems, like coils, plugs,or im wrong?
