I always like Eugene's answers because he's the most open one when it comes to different or odd foods. Being Asian myself I find that we are more open minded to the foods of other culture and don't dismiss them as quickly as other people.

Really liked what Zach had to say about canned food being a reality for some people in the world. Also I laughed super hard at the next part where he went F this. He's a really funny guy.
Canned food does not mean low quality. I don't get why they think canned food is for the poor.

When I was young, one of our favorites meals was baked beans and this canned bread. I tried it as an adult.. it doesn't resemble bread. At all. It's so.. moist and sweet.. Like a disgusting cake? I can't even explain it.

octopuss is delicious! you just got one from a shitty brand that doesnt know how to cook it properly and thats why it was chewie, in portugal we have many canned brands of octopuss, we use them as an apettizer, but usually we prefer fresh or frozen octopuss for main dishes like in salads or with rice, or just as the main course alongside some potatos. google polvo á lagareiro or arroz de polvo or salada de polvo and youll find great looking dishes and recipes
It's all in tastes. I don't like octopus and where I live you can go into the ocea, hunt it, kill it, prepare it and TA-DA! You'll never eat it freshier. But to be fair, I'm the only one in my family who doesn't like it.

I didn't even realize canned food was such a shocking thing like we get canned food all the time; vegetables, soups, etc. it's not like an "omg this is the only thing I have to eat thing" it just a simple alternative. I don't understand why they try to make it like it's something only poor people with no hope eat.
canned veggies and soups are 100% normal. Canned breads and "fried" chicken is a completely different story. It's like someone handing you a hamburger in a can. It's...unnatural.

I think what he means is that some people don't have/get a choice, not necessarily that people who are well off don't or can't eat canned food. So being in a position where he can laugh about something that might be all someone else gets to eat shouldn't be taken lightly.
