What kind of control does Gunn have over the DC IP's when he can't just tell Matt Reeves, "Naw You're part of the greater Universe"? Can you imagine somebody telling Kevin Feige that they don't want their "art" to be part of the MCU? Feige is doing business with Sony For Gods Sake. DC fanboys prepare yourselves for more disappointment.

Warner Brothers will be about the immediate money to be made. I also feel that is why Gunn's batman stories are so far away from filming. They are waiting for the money made.

I was on set during the Miami Vice remake in 2005 at the Conrad. Got to meet Colin, and he was extremely personable & cool with everyone from the extras to food service he was a Legit stand-up dude.

I still can't get over Colin Ferrell is the Penguin. That make up artist deserves all of the awards. Great seeing Clancy Brown, its always a treat to see him on screen. I do find its interesting that so many of the shows theses days are featuring the "villains" as the protagonists. A large part of me really want to seen some good old fashioned heroes as the protagonists. (and yes, the Batman parts of the Flash were the best parts of the movie, not exactly how it's supposed to be)
It's just his eyes that give it away. His eyes just stick out from all the makeup and prosthetics. Not saying it's bad, he's fantastic and I agree with you, it's just the eyes I can see and recognize him.

I haven't really seen much hate for him since The Batman released. He's probably the most celebrated Batman aside from Bale and Keaton, the latter mainly due to nostalgia reasons
Ben Affleck gave us a real action packed dark knight Batman, Robert gave us the detective side of Batman, Michael Keaton came back hard, and Bale batman was okay, they should of beef up the action

Clancy Brown is Rex "Lion," there is a small twist in the Batman Eternal story where it turns out that Rex was still alive but chose to stay in prison while Falcone took over. But once Falcone was out of the picture all hell broke loose.
Penguin is finally gonna take his place in the criminal organization of Gotham, paying off what he told Batman when he asked if he knew what his reputation was. With Batman saying "Yeah. Do you?" Now he'll know
The teaser trailer left me with a very strong Sopranos vibe.

I think thisll set up allot of rogues, its a power vacuum right im hoping we get to see black mask, maybe some clayface easter eggs, riddler and joker henchmen running around it would be cool to actually see rogue gangs battle it out in the streets of Gotham
Clancy brown was also the villain in pet cemetary 2 and the drill instructor and capturer opf brain bug in starship troopers
Andy Muschietti just made 3 bad movies in a row, his last movie was a historic superhero bomb that seemed like the director was unwell.

Keaton's Batman 1989 is the best, but Pattenson s Batman is on the next level. It's my favorite Batman , it's dark , more of a detective movie. It's amazing

I loved The Batman. I think it's my favorite Batman live action movie so far. With great respect to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I just really enjoy the tone, and pacing and the darkness of it, it just feels like Batman and how he should be, what I've wanted from DC for a long time.
