Ok, this tutorial was EXCELLANT, I had the Google Pixel 4XL and needed to move my phone to my new Google Pixel 6 Pro and it gave me everything I needed to do this, I'm thrilled because I'm on the Verizon network and they now CHARGE $30.00 to do a data transfer, I said helllllll nooooooo, I just needed a new sim card and told the guy there helping me that I will go home and find a video on CZcams to help me and I came across this video and watched you what you did and I just did the same and VIOLÁ it copied it all nicely to my newER phone, so thank you thank you thank you, it means the world for me to do this my self rather than rely on someone and have to pay them also! Very Very Very practical!👍

I've read that the SIM card should be left in the old device until all the transfer is completed. Is that still the case?
I need to do the contrary. I want to copy all the data from the Pixel 6 pro to my old phone because the Pixel 6 pro is a piece of junk. It has not worked well since the first day I got it. So I have to copy the data I put in it to my old HTC. My last phone was iPhone 11 pro max which I didn't like and went back to using my old HTC u 12. How do I copy the data from Pixel 6 pro to HTC U 12?

@@MillennialReview is this process going to work for a switch from a 3XL to a 6? I have the same issue with the first commenter. I haven't purchased the pixel 6 yet, but want to very soon. Can a Best Buy tech geek take care of everything for me if I buy the pixel 6 there? I did what you're doing one time when I switched my Motorola E4 to my pixel 3XL by myself in December 2019. I was so low tech, it was laughable. I couldn't believe what I didn't know about cellphones. It switched everything but the few photos that were on the phone. I want to prevent this the next time.
Does it also transfer the WhatsApp data to the new phone?

Grace Nonfito, have you been successful in transferring all your photos? I'm wanting to switch as well from my pixel 3XL to a pixel 6. I don't have many photos at all. Most are in text messages. Dam, I don't want to give up my 3XL. Was gonna purchase the new phone at Best Buy. Will they take care of this for me? It's frustrating being so low tech. 😤

@@harrysidhu239 Good for you that tech is so easy. Did you see my last sentence?? I have to be walked SLOWLY step by step for some of the simplest things that come second nature to many people. I try my best with a brain injury sustained earlier in my life. One I shouldn't have even survived. So again, good for you. I've never done what you're talking about. I'll either figure it out or get help from a geek at Best Buy. I'll get it done one way or another. How many people know EVERY dam thing these phones can do? Do you????

I just bought a Pixel 7 Pro and Google is going to credit me $300 for my Pixel 4XL when I send it to them. Question -does the Pixel 4XL need a sim card in it to qualify for the credit Is it OK to send it in without it ?
