Almost had me "erase all data(factory reset)" my old phone. Thought it was part of the instructions. Luckily I looked at another video which did not.....and on listening more carefully to what you said I realized you meant to show us how to reset the new phone to the factory settings if it had already been set up...... on the old phone. Thank God.

No information on how to bring up the Get Started page. Video just starts with it open. I've looked everywhere in settings for it.
how can you transfer files by your method if you factory reset the old phone first? It is factory reset, no old files there anymore?
i had the same question, which is why I came down to the comments. Why does the OP factory reset the old phone prior to transfer/copy data to new phone!?
He only showed how to see the initial screen on your NEW phone, using the old phone. It was just demonstration

My apps didnt make it over and i had the option selected
My 7 Pro tells me "devices are connected" & "You may need to allow permissions on your old device". Old device is an S21U. I've skipped this, reset the 7 Pro & still get stuck here

I have the same issue as well.
Its probably because your USB debugging option is turned ON in developer options in your old phone. Worked for me after turning it OFF

When connecting to my onePlus 8T, I always got the message that the connection cannot be established...
I got the same thing with OP7Pro. Use the original red cable that came with phone + google adapter, that did it for me.
What about the sim card? Not sure what is going on there.
