I just bought a 2019 f350 dump truck and I just put two pallets of heavy brick and the thing didn’t even flinch lol straight beast. Your setup is bad ass

I drive basically the same truck for work, single cab dump bed. My only complaints so far is that the steering can get a little floaty when loaded down real heavy and an intermittent issue with the windshield wipers randomly coming on and the radio not wanting to change inputs. I regularly tow a 14t dump trailer with 12-13 yards of mulch while also having a couple yards of river rock in the trucks bed. And it seems to do it just fine. Tow haul mode has come a long way, its really impressive how well it keeps everything so well controlled when braking by downshifting early to assist you. Our old truck was a 450 with the 6.0. Plenty of power for towing but the 550 does it so much better with the driver aids.

Definitely have had Big Tex loaded and 2015 f550 tows it like it's not even there it only does 85 but it'll do it without hesitation
that truck is rated at 19,500 gvw and 43,500 combination if memory serves me
4.88 rear gears in the 550’s usually.
Wrong ford offers three ratios in the 450/550 trucks....all he has to do is read the door jam sticker for the gear ration OR check one of the axle tags/stickers

Should be fine....pac west out of Seattle has these truck for there heavy equipment repair services trucks....what your truck just went through was nothing.....plus they idle there trucks 12 hours a day for the pto...these engines are not to bad...not a ford fan but I'll give credit were its due

Not even a stress for a 550. My SRW 350 could do this safely as long as the mass was all in the trailer and the tongue weight wasn't fucked
