I have the biker griper. I hit a deer with a streetglide going down the interstate doin 85mph last fall, stayed up, but the impact was hard! Phone mounted to the perch and didn’t move! Great product!
I love my gripper! By far the best one! The first phone mount I used failed . The rubber band x mount tore a year in . 2 years with the gripper and going strong! Mounted on my 16 ultra limited!
Looks like a Techmount I guess it’s the same thing oh that’s what you’re talking about . I’ve had one for a long time American made company lifetime warranty. Those little pads inside sometimes screw up just come up and I’ll send you some more. Think I’ve had mine for about five years. Awesome holds my iPhone 8 + . I do agree best there’s a knock off out there this one has a double spring both sides move. I think you’re talking about that one. American made I think they’re out of New Jersey maybe not maybe that’scoolsac you know the guys that used to do Harley‘s luggage before they outsourced.

I have this exact same mount. It was bought for me a Christmas present. So, obviously I don't have the receipt. I have my mount located on my right side handle bar on a 2012 FLHX. The mount keeps falling down. Not on the handle bar, but the gripper that holds the phone. I'm going to try to build the ball socket up with something to see if I can get it to tighten on the ball.
Is there any kind of anti-vibration built in? My phone’s internal optical image stabilizer got damaged from using a quad lock mount on my BMW F800GSA, and I had to have the whole camera replaced for a few hundred bucks… so my next Moto mount needs to prevent that from happening.

I just plug phone in while it's in the holder. Just a standard charging cord plugged into a 12v port I installed. Here is an option for a charging mount that we recommend ==> Here is our recommended option for a charging holder.
Do you have your phone gripper attached to the KLR Upper in this video? How did you do that? I have the handle bar mount. I NEED A KLR UPPER DASH MOUNT. The ball thingy.

I have gone through two of them. The phone always ends up sliding out the bottom.
