Thank you for the informative and inspiring video! Have a great gardening year!
Thank you! You too!
Oh Lauren....I have found you through Jill. Jill I found through Jess. Lol. I LOVE the Sourthern accents! You and Jill sound so much alike. All 3 of you are VERY sweet. Like I said I found you about 3 weeks ago. I love to garden just like you gals. I'm actually jealous of y'all down there that can plant year round. I'm up here in the frozen tundra as that is what Wisconsin is called. I HATE the cold. Trust me if I could live in the South I would in a heartbeat but the hubby says no. 😥 Anyhow, very nice to meet you and your family. I love all your animals. Another dream of mine that he says no too. UGH! Anyhow, I'm living life through you! I appreciate your videos and all you share. Best of luck with all your sales and Congrats on baby #3. I have 2 kids adopted from Ethiopia at ages 2 and 3. They are 11 months apart. I was unable to have my own. Gods plan was much larger for sure. Have a great Friday! Take Care. Karen 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind words, Karen! I’m glad you’re here:). Best of luck with your garden this coming year!

Love the idea of using graph paper versus just winging it with a blank piece of paper.. which I do lol thanks for the tip!
I map out my garden on one side of the graph paper and then take notes on the back. That way I can look back at each year to see what I planted and where! I love graphing out the next season!
The graph paper is so helpful especially if you’re a visual person like me.
Good idea!
Girl I'm stoked for next spring and summer garden!!! Gardens of 2022!!🥰

Great info. Thanks! Graph paper is a #1 tool to use. I don’t market garden but it’s saved me many times. On seed starting to planting.
Yes ma’am! It’s a very overlooked but helpful tool!
Do these books talk about crop planting for different zones?
It doesn’t break it down by zone.
Hey! We are thinking about selling from our garden this year, my hubbys getting hung up on the insurance part! What do you recommend for insurance?!
Very good question. I can’t remember off the top of my head what we purchased. We called our insurance agent and explained what we were doing and they directed us on the appropriate policy. I know every state has different laws and regulations which gets so overwhelming so I’d just start by calling your local insurance agent.
Just curious, why do you need insurance to sell from the garden?
@@shannaking5176 My husband's example: If someone were to eat one of my veggies and state that it made them sick and they were to file a lawsuit, that could cost alot. Also, if we chose to do Farmers Markets and someone where to slip/fall at our booth it's my understanding that would be our liability. So he believes we should have insurance to cover our assets.
Where I live, I’m not required to have insurance but we felt like it was the best decision to keep us protected. Ie-if someone came to do a farm visit and were to get hurt on our farm, our insurance protects us.
