So we had to chose between the Lexus NX, Lexus RX, Toyota Rav4 , and the Tesla Y. We used to own the fully electric Tesla Y and needed to decide whether to stick with it or change to a plug in hybrid. Like many people, we needed to also decide between hybrid, plug in hybird (PHEV) or full electric. In the end, we chose Lexus NX450h+. It is a great car!

the charger lock is a great feature. It prevents people from unplugging your charger in public places. IMO, it's a feature, not a bug

This was very helpful, thank you. The charger lock feature is definitely a plus, you won't have some random person easily unplug your charger without your keys
The charger adapter does that for your security. It prevents someone from grabbing your charger at a charging station. Having to unlock the car with a remote isn't really much of an inconvenience.

Great video, Thx. I was also comparing Tesla Y and NX450h+ and bought the NX450h+. It is built luxuriously inside and the outside and it meets my everyday drive EV range.

Another option if you dont want to disable the charging lock is if you have your Keyfob with you and if you can unlock the car from the rear passenger door handle just touch that and it should unlock the charger. When i had my rav4 prime i use to do that and it worked great.
Thank you for this review. Finishing up my research on the Lexus NX 450h+ and needed some independent reviews from owners. I currently have a Rav4 and looked at the Rav4 Prime and was disappointed with the features.
My wife spend 30 seconds in the RAV4 prime and knew she wanted to pay more for all the features of the NX

you can turn of the charger lock in the menu. I have a 2022 NX450h+, and I have the charger lock disabled.

The latest NX and RX are close as you say in terms of ride comfort. This is because in the latest update, the NX ride improved over the previous NX, and the RX ride got worse compared with the previous RX. So now the NX and RX have become more equal.
No.....on the "F" Sport you get the " Adaptive Suspension " stiffer in turns and much smoother in ride quality
What are your thoughts about the plug in hybrid 2024 Prius Prime? Would you upgrade your Gen 3 Prius for it?
New prius prime looks awesome, but I don't need an upgrade.

If plug in is notnyour main reason for your choice, would you think toyota crown signia hybrids would be your final choice?
I would consider new Camry XSE AWD. Cheaper than crown and has almost every functions .

Sadly you really F ...ed up as you should have bought the 450h+ "F" Sport NICER MODEL.......which has a Far and Away Nicer front Facia with the large black functional Air Intakes and Adaptive Suspension gets 49 miles per 120 volt charge ( I never use gas) & it gets 89 miles per gal in Hybred!

@donaldbanner2185 How would upgrading to F Sport give you extra range? You are mixing things up.
This comment is so biased. I have 450h+ luxury without F-Sport. Yes the F sport has better aesthetic and slightly better suspension, but the seat was uncomfortable for me. And I agreed with others, how does upgrading to Fsport give you better mileage? That is a false statement. Do you even own this car by any chance?

Some don't appreciate the adaptive variable suspension or the F Sport look. Some prefer the ML audio system which is not available on the F Sport. I know you prefer the F Sport and I wouldn't say they made a bad choice if they selected the non-F Sport 450h+. Both great cars for different preferences. It's like arguing that he should have got a white vs the cloudburst gray.... whatever color works for you is the color to get.
