Hello Lori, I love your channel, love you, (so helpful to us out here) and love your accent. I just bought Star Joy Gold pencils on your recommendation. There are so many things I love about them, they feel as close to Prisma colors and any pencil I have. I am really, really happy with them except that the name and number wear off very easy. I put a light coat of clear nail polish over the gold paint part. I think this will work to preserve the name and number but perhaps if you ever tweek these pencils it would be good to do something to make the id more permanente.
You Lori have become my fav yt'er ever. I bought the 2 pdfs and have been spending my day with Netflix and your pressure blending. I will move on to the pods next. You are amazing.

As a throat cancer survivor, I have been forced to hermit myself at home. I found coloring to be so incredibly healthy and relaxing for both my mind and body while I am still fighting this disease that it is not even explainable really. But, I don't want to just "color." I legitimately want to be *good.* So thank you so very, very much for sharing this journey with me and becoming my mentor in this form of beautiful expression. I am so glad to be here. =)

It depends on how new you are. Comprehensive color blending 2 will cover most of what is in the other systems. While it is 2, it's the second book and you don't need 1 to do 2.
Hello Lori! I am reaching out, because I purchased the book on Etsy, just today!!! I love it. However, I was wondering where can I get just a full empty page of the pressure swatch page!? Also, my book is prefilled in. Did I purchase the wrong book? I wanted to fill in my own pages... However, I don't own Prismas or Pollychromos. I'm just needing blank templates, to fill in with my Brutfuners and Shuttle Arts. (I know... it's not the best, but... As you said, I will replace my colors with Prismas or Faber-Castells as I run out!!! ...Never mind!!! LOL... naturally, I didn't watch the video entitled, More Options Are Now Added To The CMW Colored Pencil Blending System!!!

The upgrade was for people who ordered it before I made the improvements. I didn't think it was fair that so many people had the other version when I changed it in a week so I gave the upgrade to everyone who bought it. As if this Monday past everything in Etsy is how it is going to be for a long time. If I do an upgrade within the next year I'll give everyone that one for free too. So what is the difference between all the versions of the sets: there is a download, workbook, masters set, hard copy: if you order a hard copy or workbook do you get a pdf file as well: I’m confused: a pdf is fine. I can print as needed. I’m trying to decide between a workbook or hard copy too. I assume if I order a hard copy I will have separate sheets to put in a binder if I choose. But then are you really shipping all these pages? I don’t think so. I have an ink jet printer. It gets really expensive to print so many sheets & buy cartridge replacements. So I’m trying to figure all this out.
I know this is not normal , but I don't really like Prismacolor pencils. I do, however, love Polychromos pencils. Now, I can see on your Etsy store that you have a Polychromos .pdf version. But will there be instructing Polychromos videos? Or how exactly will I translate between my Polychromos pencils and Prismacolor videos? Would you let me know how someone like me would work with the system? Thanks!
I downloaded your color blending workbook. Now here is my question. I am an organizing freak and I put all my new pencils in a pencil book with elastic straps. I see that Prismacolor numbering does not follow color hues like Inktense or Faber Castell. The numbers are all over the place. I want to place my colors in groups from warmer to cooler colors in the various hues. The greens, reds and yellows are easy to figure out, but many of the other colors are difficult. Does Prismacolor or you have a chart that shows the progression of colors? Like which blues are greener or redder, or some of the other unusual colors? Or is this a silly question?
It appears as though you put the colors on the list according to the sequence that they would go, like yellowish orange to orange to red orange etc. by color temperature. Am I correct?
So when we fill in the swatches on the pressure blending sheet, is the base color filled in evenly before the white is added? Or is one side of the swatch done using light pressure while the other uses heavy, then the white is added? Thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into teaching all of us!

After 30 years of cross-stitching, I wanted to try something that requires me to be more creative. Bullet journaling led me to bible journaling and then pencils. The beautiful colors and feel of the pencils on paper enchanted me immediately! And art supplies are so cheap now, I just had to go for it. 🥰 I’m so grateful for your tutelage!
I am disappointed that my pdf has all the colors already filled in! ☹ I don't have a color printer so everything I print will have tones of black in the space I am supposed to color in my primary color and my color to blend. What can I do about this??? I've posted the same question on your Etsy page. Can I get a refund?
Yep and just like I changed this channel it's being changed too. Working on a good format. Much more interesting. I have some help with it. We are just figuring some stuff out. It's going to be live streaming. I am just trying to figure out how to do the camera angels and stuff like that. I am good with video but have never done it live.
The two are very different. One is a swatching and the other is actually doing the art. The intermediate book will teach you a lot, but you still have to work on your blending skills. If you are someone who likes to jump in the pool head first then go for the intermediate book. Beginners can learn a lot from it, but watch the CMW videos from the CMW playlist. If you have any confusion I am always there to help you.

Are these Prismacolors. What happens if you only have FC Polychromos.

I am disappointed that my pdf has all the colors already filled in! ☹ I don't have a color printer so everything I print will have tones of black in the space I am supposed to color in my primary color and my color to blend. What can I do about this??? I've posted the same question on your Etsy page. Can I get a refund?

Yep and just like I changed this channel it's being changed too. Working on a good format. Much more interesting. I have some help with it. We are just figuring some stuff out. It's going to be live streaming. I am just trying to figure out how to do the camera angels and stuff like that. I am good with video but have never done it live.

The two are very different. One is a swatching and the other is actually doing the art. The intermediate book will teach you a lot, but you still have to work on your blending skills. If you are someone who likes to jump in the pool head first then go for the intermediate book. Beginners can learn a lot from it, but watch the CMW videos from the CMW playlist. If you have any confusion I am always there to help you.
