This trailer is incredibly well done - I'm normally someone who goes "whatever, show me some gameplay please". But here, I am mesmerized by the setting and instantly want to know more

that's the exact thing i've said when i saw this trailer and i hope it's better spiritaul successor BATTLE SYSTEM . i've been dying for a addition system rpg game and now we just might have it.
This is by far one of the most beautiful things I've seen this year... Can't wait !!!
I think what makes this even outstanding is this is the first IP made by this developer, which, if so, congrats to them, does look fantastic

Honestly, playing Edge of Eternity, I was always like "this could have been pretty good with an actual budget" so I'm all for this

Finally. A game that is modernising and upholding a great genre. I hope this is as good as it looks.
The artstyle seems like the usual AAA open world rpg stuff, but the combat reminds me of the Mario RPGs and the Dynamic menus and camera angles remind me of Persona... Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

You don't see a lot of western turn-based RPGs often and one that is reminiscent of modern Persona games. This is looking good.

Works for me. Too many JRPGs rely too much on the teenage coming of age schlock. Nice to have an adult story with real drama and stakes

@@ArchieGamez Agreed, but yeah. Two games. From a series that only recently went JRPG. Outside of that it's just Final Fantasy. Remember the 90s and early 2000s when we had many more adult JRPGs? When was the last time we got a game like Vagrant Story or Parasite Eve? Nier Automata is like 8 years old. I get tired of waiting for my types of JRPGs. Everyone keeps wanting to chase Persona and shonen anime

This is - by far - the best videogame trailer i have seen in a long time. What an absolutely incredibly well-done job of showcasing a game. Finally (!) a turn-based combat system that does take itself very seriously. Amazing!

Gotta comment again, I LOVE turned based battle systems and so happy we’re seeing more games return to it. Sea of Stars was a gem.
I have realized that I am already as obsessed with this and the music as I was for FFXV back when it had its early trailers with Valse di Fantastica in the background. I think I have watched this twenty times now

Nah doesn't look that simple, this setting sort of reminds me of the 100 show. From the trailer, it showcased multiple other characters. There's a chance we'll run into other survivors sent here in the past.
the story prob has great themes of mortality since the main characters literally only have a year to live
This looks absolutely phenomenal and the music was fantastic. I don't even need to see anymore to be sold.
Some of it reminded me of Lost Odyssey with the interactions during the turn based combat. Making the turn based combat more dynamic and interactive.
I love turn based games, I hope they're making a comeback in western dev studios too. The trailer looks amazing

The battle system looks like a mix of Legend of Dragoon and the Mario RPGs while the UI is somewhat reminiscent of Persona. I really like what I see.

The most interesting gaming presentation. We've gotten to the point where I have to justify the fact that I liked it largely because it had beautiful female characters. I don’t even know the last time I saw this in the Western gaming industry, and before 2015 there were a lot of such games, perhaps with unnecessary excesses, but what is happening now is the other extreme. I'm not against heroes of ordinary appearance, but not when the entire industry consists of them. In reality there are also a lot of beautiful girls, I don’t understand why it’s considered shameful to add them to games. Reminds me of the medieval Inquisition, where they persecuted beautiful women, calling them witches, ha.
I hope this is the beginning of an era away from extremes.
More people NEED to talk about this game!!!!!!
