Of course he's gonna disagree with weaponising a fan base. We are the fans who sometimes become uplifters for people who has been kind to Taylor and support them in their low times, amd we are the fans who become a weapon when necessary.
Scooter Braun continues to profit from Taylor’s Masters of her first six albums to this day. It’s part of their contract with Shamrock Holdings, whom he sold the Masters to.
If Scooter genuinely regrets and is not the douchebag we thought he is, then he should let that contract clause go. Willingly amend the contract to stop profiting from all of Taylor Swift’s Masters.
Taylor has said that it’s the reason why she cannot partner with Shamrock Holdings regarding her old Masters. That means continuing to promote those works, would just be her continuing to let Scooter Braun leech from her musical creations. She had make the painful choice of cutting herself off from those Masters in order to cut off Scooter Braun from her life.
Her old masters won’t be worth as much..he likely sold her old masters because she’s re recording and he knows that fans won’t listen to the originals. Swifties are loyal 🙌🏼
