As a recovering anorexic myself, I can promise that there is absolutely nothing anyone can say that will make an anorexic willingly seek help. It’s something that happens on our own, like literally one day the light bulb just goes off in our head.
Nailed it. I had an ED for 15 yrs and, although my case was really atypical as far as EDs go, ultimately it was making that decision myself that got me out of it.

It’s just so heart breaking to watch her diminish away without anyone being able to get to her. Sadly, so many don’t ever come to that conclusion and do irreversible damage or even worse die before getting help. I think I’m going to have to block her on all social media platforms because it feels very distressing to see a woman slowly dying and see the hate she gets & her mother just do nothing either.
I’m a mother with a daughter who has severe anorexia. We have come to the conclusion that there is no help unless the person wants to get better. I have taken my daughter to hospital over 20 times. All they do is put a tube in for 5-7 days. Ensure all electrolytes are good, especially Potassium. Once they are not considered crisis on blood results, they are like BYE. It’s so frustrating to watch the person you love die slowly in front of you. However, in Australia when someone is over 18 which is my daughter’s age. They give them the choice to sign paperwork which allows them to regect care. We have had her detained for 3 months. All that did was cause rapid weight gain and then we were left to deal with everything without care. The mental health system is really lacking with eating disorders. People will never understand the fear I have when my daughter isn’t awake by 10am. I’m so scared to open her door and find her dead in her sleep. The heart only has so many beats. I wish I knew where to go. I’m actually asking anyone who is reading this sincerely, what would you do? Sending Good Vibes from Australia.x

I remember when I was very depressed and I'd cut myself. I went into the hospital for a while. I don't understand the difference in that self harm and not eating or overeating. Shouldn't all self harm be taken seriously enough to take them to the hospital??
@@MaDoDoX All we can do is love them, encourage them to make better choices and remind them that we only have such little time on this earth together. The Psychiatrist, the doctor and the entire team for eating disorders, Shame On You All. My daughter is loved and the simple things like getting a coffee together daily are the things I cherish. My daughter is a human and I remind her that she is Special. An eating disorder should not discriminate but there is such stigma in the mental health system relating to this mental health condition. The brain becomes so starved that they can’t make good choices for themselves. Hopefully she will heal from the trauma that this illness is masking.
@@danella2966 I have found one thing that helps is trying to find something that distracts the person and gets their mind of the ED, their body, and what they’re eating. It could be anything like horseback riding, art classes, baking, a job, etc. Because the more her life revolves around her ED the more stuck she will stay. People with eating disorders love routine too, so if you could help her get into a healthier consistent routine that could really help her. Most people struggling with eating disorders have depression and anxiety and sometimes OCD so medication may be helpful for her too. Would she agree to do therapy? Therapy can be really beneficial. Even if they don’t focus on her ED but just her feelings, that could really help her.
@@okokok0765 Hi, I really appreciate your advice. You are so right. Distraction is important. At present it feels like Groundhog Day. Routine is very important to her. I take her for a coffee and short walk everyday. During these times she is free from that loud noise in her head. Very traumatised from being detained and force fed 6000 calories a day for 3 months. I had no rights over her care. The hospital wouldn’t even let her try eating food. So for 3 months she lived on a tube and then they discharged her with no meal plan. I still don’t know the name of the treating psychiatrist. Maybe a private therapist is a good idea. She does take meds for BPD. People think I’m negligent but the hospital treatment seemed ethically wrong especially when she was out of the crisis situation. How do you discharge someone when they haven’t eaten solid food for 3 months and expect her to magically do it herself at home. She would shower with a gown on while nurses talked about her while she was in ear distance. They need to train nurses in this area especially in Sth Australia. Thanks
Slowly watching a young lady document her entire life in a tiny room starving herself to death. Yes, I said it. We are watching her document her own death story.
I swear I check her every two or three months and she gets smaller and smaller… It’s fuckin horrific..
I have said the exact same thing! CZcams allowing someone to commit a slow suicide right before our eyes. I check back every so often to see if she’s still alive. The damage to her heart alone has to be severe at this point.
@@jailbird61I thought the same thing.. I am recovering from an ED (anorexia/bulimia combo diagnosed as EDNOS) that I've had since I was 12. I'm 24 now and I have heart problems (a heart arrythmia that I think is called PVCs) that will probably be a problem forever.
And I was NEVER as small as her! I was skinny, had all my bones popping out, but never like a full skeleton like Eugenia.. It is so sad..

Here's the thing. Eugenia is so deep into her eating disorder that it is probably thing she only identifies with. People with anorexia (including myself, for a time) are highly perfectionistic and competitive. They want to be the "best" anorexics because it makes them feel special. They KNOW that they are sick and starving, but they want to be that way. When I was sick, I thought it was the only thing that made me special and the only reason people cared about me. Comments like, "you need help" or "you look sick" only motivated me because I knew I was achieving my goal. I knew I was getting noticed. Absolutely nothing will make anyone get better outside of themselves. I assure you she loves all of these comments about how she looks. She's getting people's attention. She knows what she's doing and she enjoys it. That's the sick nature of the disease. No one and nothing will get through to her, especially how she is now. Her brain is severely malnourished and her thinking is unreasonable. Unless something tragic happens to scare her enough, she will continue to live like this until she passes away. By this time I'm sure she has permanent health effects, such as osteoporosis and reduced digestive function. Her organs will shut down and her heart will give out on its own time. That's the sad but real truth.

scary that it’s literally been like 8 years of this and somehow her organs are still chuggin. any day now we could see her die on stream.
It is so sad and horrible to see that she is so much worse now. I will continue to hope she can make positive changes to have the control in her life that she wants.

Nope. If you look back at the video we all were stunned over just before she went to rehab, even then she had more energy and was a little bit thicker. It's devastating.

She looked so beautiful a few years ago when she was in recovery for a few months. Her skin was glowing, there was a sparkle in her eyes, she was coherent. I wish she would learn that you can still be thin in a healthy way.

Girl I have been following you since 2014, I am speaking from my heart when I say this is the worst I have ever seen you. It breaks my heart. I began following you because I was also anorexic and felt you were someone I could relate to. However, I got help and I began the battle that is healing, now I want nothing more than to be someone you feel you can relate to. Please get help. We all love you and don’t want to see anything bad happen to you. I know you don’t want to get better for yourself, so if not for yourself do it for those who can not physically live without you in this world. Because hunny that is the path you are going down right now. I am so glad that I got help. Please let us help you.

There are mandatory holds for this. You can be 5150’d for being gravely disabled, which includes being unable to feed yourself. Someone just has to make the call.
The problem is her mother. With her in the mix telling cops she’ll take care of Eugenia, Eugenia won’t be 5150’d.

Yes… I have a friend who is 600 pounds and I could die if anything what happened to him. He is such a kind soul it’s sad. I also deal with my own stuff. I don’t want Eugenia to die, though I’m new to her channel and type in watching her once in a while.
But police will take a suicide victim immediately to hospital ED patients need an assessment team to be there and then the police can act and an assessment team do not have powers to enter your home genes why she is in her basement or heavily supervised by family if out
My mom had an eating disorder, which really was hard for me to deal with. For some reason, while I feel sorry for Eugenia, I also know there’s nothing anyone can do to stop her.

Yeah even though I've grown attached to her presence on the internet and of how in some ways she reminds me of an old friend I had, even I can't support her declining like this because I'm honestly so scared for her and what the worst could be up next for her.
We are "enabling" her because anorexia is mainly mental issue and seeing bad comments will only make her feel worse and take shelter into this illness. If you want to help her to recover, show some kindness. You can still be concerned about her health (which IS concerning), but the right answer to someone suffering from anorexia is not pushing them down, it's helping them to see the good things and get back on their feet.

@@mixedmediaartgirl300 Greying skin is the result of a lack of oxygenation in the blood. Later stages of kidney or renal failure can cause low oxygenation in the blood. So yea it is most certainly death setting in.

It's looking grey because she has starved herself for so long, she has necrosed her blood . Her red blood cells are not able to circulate oxygen. This condition also causes a build up on ammonia in the brain. This alone can be fatal. She is going to leave this world soon.
As someone who knows what both anorexia and ED is and had it like only a few months ago. It doesn’t work to say start eating and stuff like that, I got help from some doctors and I know that every person that has anorexia doesn’t want to go to the doctor but you have to if you wanna live and be healthy. Also some facts about having anorexia is that if you don’t stop your hair is gonna fall off your skin gets pale your ribs show don’t feel as much happier anymore and feels cold all the time. I know it’s a hard time for you right now Eugina, but for your best go visit some doctors that can change your life! It’s not to late if you go as fast as possible. Also if you really really don’t wanna go to the doctors I can tell you a bit what my doctors said to me. First of all sugar, sweets, ice cream and all of that stuff doesn’t make you fat at all. Same with pizza and hamburgers, there not unhealthy! All you gotta have is balance. So if you like eat a salad every day it’s not healthy it’s unhealthy. The same with if you eat hamburger every day. It’s healthy if you not eat it everyday bc it’s all about balance and getting the proteins and vitamins and all of that so you can recover. Also an important thing to say is that when you have anorexia your mind is not telling you the truth, so when you look in the mirror and think: nooo I’ve gained weight, I look so fat today. It’s not true, you’re mind is completely telling you the opposite of the right. You all know these African kids that don’t get food with very big and bloated tummy’s? Well that happens when you haven’t eaten in a while and your organs is not familiar when you finally eat. So if you feel very bloated it’s bc of that. When you start eating as much as you need to the bloating will stop..we’ll not completely bc it’s a normal thing that all humans does, for example if I only eat one protein bar I will still bloat bc my tummy is working on getting it digested. Also ik when you haven’t been eating as much and eat a recommended portion for your age it feels like your gonna vomit. And it’s not bc it’s much food it’s bc your not used to eating this bc you haven’t eaten in a while. But if you keep eating the recommended portions although it feels f*cking impossible you’ll get used to it and your health will be so much better, everyone wants to live..right? I do.
My doctor held up 2 plastic circles in front of me. The first circle was green and the other one was red.
She said:
This green plastic circle is your mind, and this red one is ED/anorexia. (She puts the red circle over the green one and says)
Now the ED/anorexia has taken over your mind. And when it does that you are not you anymore. It’s the ED/ anorexia that’s taking over your mind/the green circle. When the red circle is taking over you’ll feel like you wanna kill yourself and self harm yourself. I remember one time when I was gonna eat a recommended portion for my age and I just felt like there was nothing to live for so I ran in to the bathroom and screamed:
I DONT WANNA LIVE!!!!!! And jumped up and down so I landed on my knees to hurt my self.
I hate anorexia and ED, it’s the worst thing that’s happened ever to me in my life. To get rid of those mindsets, or at least some of them

I also noticed that CZcams puts special blocks on Self Harm content videos and you have to indicate that you are over 18 to watch them. Its interesting in a sick way that they don’t view this content as something that should be “ restricted “. CZcams is just as bad in enabling Eugenia’s downward spiral into this disease.
Hope for the best but I think it’s a lost cause and as she gets older the body will not be able to function properly. I saw it happen to my friends daughter. She could survive in the disease in her 20s but everything started to decline with her body in her 30s. She passed away at 34 to years ago. God Bless my goddaughter Christina.
I think Eugenia would be best served in a dual diagnosis program once she is medically stable. I think the conventional ED programs where they keep patients for a month or two and just put weight on them are useless. Dual diagnoses programs dealing with the trauma or whatever lies beneath the illness have the only chance to save someone.
your face is aging, your hair is thinning, your teeth look like they are clinging on for dear life. if you’re not going to eat at least take vitamins, fish oil, and premier nutrition shakes. so at least you can look better. 😢

Eugenia comes from money honey, meaning her family have always had lots of money. Eugenia money is her own money her family don't need money from Eugenia. Do some research before commenting 🤔
She doesn't need the money, there's definitely some enabling/neglect happening here but her family do not need her channel for money. @RandomName-my2uo I never said she's doing it solely for the money. I said her family is using her. I may not have said directly in general, but they definitely do use her for her money and exploit her all the time. I also struggle with an ED, but I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum binge eating and then starving myself repeatedly yoyoing. I'm very aware she has a problem that is not very easy to fix, trust me. But her having a very big online presence brings in lots of money, and in my opinion, I feel like her family uses the money that she brings in too and obviously not for the greater good. I know there is obvious neglect and lack of care there, but you can't sit here and tell me since her modeling days that her family is not the reason she has not gotten better. I mean, for God's sake, look at the difference between her and her mother. Not to mention, they have one of the most awkward mother daughter relationships I have ever seen.

@SassyMa_ Yes, clearly Eugenia has her own money that she makes. That's very obvious from the $400 Moschino T shirts that she buys willy nilly and her hundreds of dollars of name brand makeup, but literally none of that will make up for the fact that is actively hurting herself and nobody around her is encouraging her to get help for the lack of nourishment. I hope she will live to see 30.

It's called having money.
They can only hold her for 72 hours if she is over 18, an adult, unless she says she is suicidal or homicidal. We cant just locking up everyone who dances with death. Like people who jump out of planes, go to the Titanic wreck in a sub, jump off cliffs, walk up to bison at Yellowstone, etc. She is an adult .... they cannot force her to eat or to keep it down. She can buy a tub of Ex-Lax if she wants.

This is so blatantly pro ana. It's also trolling, but that's not my point. Every bit of that intro was to make sure everyone sees the state of her arms. This is just another misleading titled video meant for young girls and creepy men. Thing is, this is not sustainable. True, obesity leads to health problems, but it's not comparable to this. I was active in an ed recovery forum for a long time. This is everything that was NOT allowed, due to it being flat out pro ana content. Girls, please don't try to be like this. You will not feel good or be happy. Starving hurts.

She has no body fat or muscle and will not last to much longer. Most likely she has problems with extream weakness and sleeps a lot. I expect she also gets dizzy easily. Her speech has also become shaky at moments. Then the repeating herself indicates her brain is not able to form long multiple concepts and ideas. She is sadly at deaths door. I honestly don't know if she can make it to Christmas.

This is heartbreaking on so many levels. I'm not going to beat a dead horse and mention her weight, nor the recent dramatic drop, we all have eyes. But I do want to point out that the control exerted by her family appears to have kept her infantalized in her childhood room as a little content factory doll, dressing the same way she did 15 years ago...emo and scene haven't been a thing in so long but it seems as though she wasn't ever allowed to grow up and develop as an adult human independent from her family. She doesn't appear to have any life outside of home or YT, doesn't seem to have irl friends or to go anywhere with anyone other than her mom creeping around filming her walking around and posing...it's so so sad.
Nobody wants this for her, and everyone would support her asking for help to leave her situation and better her life...I just wish she felt the same and was willing to advocate for herself.
I can't wait for the tell-all book to come out, I just wish I knew who would be writing it.

I had a similar situation due to a nervous breakdown. I have lost over 10 kg. I was very very thin. Bones began to bulge. There were malfunctions in the body, women's days stopped. I really wanted to eat, but because of stupid fear I was afraid. I was in the hospital 3 times and could not help. But in one large hospital they were able to help a little, they began to inject strong psychotropic drugs. My brain calmed down and I was able to eat. Gained weight. Now I weigh 46 kg, but with a height of 170 cm, this is still a deficit. I have such a physique that it is difficult for me to gain weight. Sometimes the pain comes back, but I try to fight it. In some cases, you need to help yourself

Exactly what do you want them to force this adult woman to do? She has been in rehab 3-4 times. Anorexics follow the plan (or not), are released, and they immediately start again. This NOT her family's fault anymore than it is your's.

When your child develops an ED, or addiction, it’s out of the parents hands…it’s up to the individual to accept they need help. Even when it’s a minor, u can send them to rebab and get professional help when their minors against their will…many times that makes them even more mad, they threaten to self delete. I totally agree. She doesn't care about death at this point. During times when my ed was strong, the idea of dying didn't seem real. First time in the hospital, i was young and dumb. Lol. Had yrs of remission in between, but last time i was 42 with 2 kids. My stress test and EKG showed i had a cardiac "event," due to ana and my brain just wasn't functioning properly. Nothing seemed real. Malnutrition can do that. All of life is a brain fog. Her family sees it but she's trained people to accept it and her mom is delusional ( on good days 😅). When her ex friends loved her enough to do an intervention, she stopped their friendship. She created the world that's killing her.

What helped me was going on a low fibre ketogenic diet as a ketogenic diet also helps with mental health symptoms (please see Dr Christopher Palmer's research). Anorexia is ALL about control. What those "friends" did was to totally strip her of ANY control, turned her against hospitals, and she checked herself out as soon as she was legally able to, more determined than ever to be in control. Friends do not forcefully commit a friend to a hospjtal and scatter when their task was done.
@@mimibee626i dont know about that. if i were to kill myself tomorrow and hated the idea of inpatient and my friends forcibly committed me, id be pissed but lets be serious, it woildnt be wrong for them to do if there was no other option. whats better - dead or inpatient? yes, anorexia is all about control, i was 78 lbs and recovered on my own thankfully. many dont manage to, and for some inpatient works, or at least buys them some more time. even gently trying to talk to her would be taking away her control. its only an illusion of control anyway - the disease is controlling everything she does. this is what ideally inpatient would teach - she didnt have control anyway, only a sick and twisted illusion of it

I just found out I'm severely iron deficient due to an autoimmune disorder and I feel like I'm losing my mind. Once I even hallucinated 😳 I'm glad I figured out the problem after going to my Dr and getting a blood test cause I had zero short term memory, would nearly fall asleep while driving, had panic attacks and crazy anxiety and depression. I can't imagine how she must feel, being deficient in ALL nutrients 😫 what a miserable "life". she must be losing her mind...

I actually really really liked the whole makeup tutorial omg! Idk how to do any makeup at all, much less a gothic style so this was supperrrr cool. I had anorexia when I was around 20, before it had a name. I was in an abusive relationship and was depending on him since I moved from Detroit to Portland OR but had a decent job. Then he put me out without notice cause I didn't like his partying so I had to find a cheap apt. and I got into an even more abusive relationship, broken jaw, thrown out of my own car with no money or nothing hundreds of miles from home, etc, etc. I stopped eating pretty much without even realizing it. Ended up in Kaiser hospital for a few days with them not knowing what was wrong with me. The care was so bad I released myself. I had an awakening not long after that but food seemed untastey and nauseated me to even look at it. I finally was able to eat yogart, I ate yogart everyday for a dang year, slowly added fruit, then a scrambled egg, etc. I remember feeling so bad at that time but never ever did that again.
Her face looks more sunken in than usual in this video 😢 especially under her eyes and under her cheekbones. I mean, the rest of her body does too but especially noticeable in her face this time. No amount of makeup can hide it.

I felt for her. I reocvered after years of an ED and I know the tendencies to be secretly proud of it so people being concerned was like weirdly validation. At this point she has been streaming and making videos for over ten years and she knows exactly what she's doing and why she gets views and I don't feel bad anymore. The damage she's likely done to those who are more niave or vulnerable in her audience. I don't believe in people being obligated to dance around a lot of triggers other people may have, there is overboard. But again, she's well aware of her own behavior and is obviously both fine with it and monitized and I don't believe she will ever change. I've never been a regular, her content just isn't my jam, but I've been watching youtube since youtube started and at this point she's just making money on dangerous content. CZcams shouldn't be monitizing this, it only encourages it to continue. Obviously it would be amazing if she could recover but I don't think she will make it to that point.

All the comments just give her validation and motivate her to continue starving herself. If she suddenly got no attention on social media I believe she might have a chance at recovery, but she probably feels like she needs to give people the "shock factor" in order to be relevant.

Try getting back into eating the daily calorie limit little by little, do cardio, and lift some weights start off with 2lbs and then progressively when you reach 5lbs keep going by increments of 5 until you can lift at least 35lbs. I recommend Oranges, Green Apples, and Bananas as you can see it’s not much to start with. Hope you can live a long and healthy live style.
I feel so bad for her. I've dealt with anorexia myself and it's not something you can just move on from. It takes years to heal appropriately.
Yea, it is freaking horrendous Ryan. Someone in their 60s said to me once, it is a shadow that never quite leaves them even though they physically recovered in their 20s - they said it is always somehow there and apart of them :/

She hasn’t got years. She’s probably past being able to support care or food now. Her organs will be “eating” themselves. Her bones are obvious “bone shaped” like skull and crossbones that kids draw.
Whats disturbing to me is her mother isn't dping a damn thing to help her. I get Eugenia is an adult but shes living with her parents and they dont seem to give a shit.

I can’t sympathize her. Like that’s fucked up she’d make a title like that knowing people want her to get better. So if she wants to die at 30 years old or however old she is then sadly that’s what’s gonna happen. She clearly doesn’t care about her fans or how she’s affecting those who also have an ED. It’s sick.
How she is even still alive is mind blowing to me. It’s like she’s got 9 lives.
she is still in her 20 s so the body is still strong once she starts hitting 30s things will get rough for her
