    Apart from a recall on the pump unit cam of the MX11 when it was first released ,i have only saw one failure like you have ...I Am currently doing 1 MX 13 cam a week at the moment ,i can't keep up with them.luckily i have the offical cam reamer for the exhaust on the 13 ,well it was for the MX .And with the one you have we got an adjustable reamer just to tidy it up...Couldn't tell you the last time i didn't have a lock bolt break....I detest fuel faults after 2 mins you reef of fuel for the day ..Keep up the good work

      Same here. It was a very odd but if I had not isolated the pumping units individually identifying the fault would of had me going round for hours.
      I don't have a adjustable reamer unfortunately but I do have a motorbike cylinder honing tool that fits 😂
      Seems we both get all the good jobs 👌

      @@TRUCKTECHUK I think there is a bulletin about it if my minds serves me correctly..Got a nice wee skive at ZF ...My phone is full of cams ,Every bolt on the gears gets toqued paint penned and photographed ,so when i have that moment of doubt after putting the bellhousing on i ,can just look at the photos..Honing tool is a good idea actually

      @@norb0254 I'd LOVE to go to ZF!!!! I'm so annoyed with the LACK of information on repairing these Traxon gearboxes and the fact were now having the new Traxon 8 speed auto for LF and XD means someone needs to let me fix them 😂
      I've a trip to DAF Monday for the LF EV electrical course.

      @@TRUCKTECHUK Your welcome to the EV ..I did the hybrid many moons ago ..that wad enough for me lol...They where saying all gearbox courses are now at ZF ..Don't think there are the instructors or the room to do the practical in house...Never knew about the new 6speed .must ask

    Nice one Russel, great video once again. Not much info out there on MX11s so its a good thing that you have posted some content about the issues that they have and the work through. I have been working on one in a Tipper/grab 8 wheel and its needed some work thats for sure. Anything from fuel system, coolant problems adblue pump failing etc. Recently the gearbox has been rebuilt, clutch replaced also. It is certainly becoming triggers broom.
    Im doing most of my diag on one with autocomm which isnt ideal. Hoping to get a Jaltest as I take more work on. Do you have any figures for the leak off rates that you have shown in the video? Say so many mL per minute or such? Naturally its probably a case of a couple of f***** injectors probably fill those cans pretty quick? However I reckon paccar/DAF would have put a figure on it?

      Hey buddy thanks for the comment again. Bit of an old video and I will most probably do a more in-depth leak-off video with my high-pressure fuel injection leak-off kit I've made soon.
      The truck has to be put into the leak-off test on the scan tool for maximum correction value doing it on say idle or even 1000rpm won't produce the fuel pressure that it makes when in leak off. tools like jaltest or topdon tell you if it's good or bad when you input the figure in ML.

      Проблема есть звук в раёне где стоит эти два насосы.
      На мх13 моторе такой короткий распределение вал?

      Кулачки распредвала топливного насоса mx-13 находятся на главном распредвале и доставляют большие проблемы.
      если у вас слышен звук бензонасоса, я бы снял и проверил ВСЕ 😢

    On several mx-13 I have only 3 bars on low pressure fuel side. Changed fuel strainer, filter and tandem pump without much success. Fuel line from tank is not blocked. Next is fuel feed valve isnt it?

      When you say 3 bar on the low pressure side have you physically measured this with a gauge or are you going off your live data. Do you have any fault codes present for this issue such as low fuel pressure

      @@TRUCKTECHUK Its live data. Only found p3836 (dosing valve - leakage detected). Also check intake module and the line to dosing valve. Tomorrow it is hitting the road..

      @@preslavvasilev7387 have you removed the fuel dosing valve and ran a check leakage from the fuel dosing valve test? Cant really see where else it would be going, you would think you would have a external leakage that side of the fuel system to get that fault.

    this plunger fuel pump unit is on Volvo FL trucks since 2008 , thw worst fuel system to diagnose and fix, and now we see on Mx-13 😑

    I did a test like that and it was the same pump ..it was not the camshaft. But it was the pump.I was not so sure about first so I change it with a good working truck that thuse the same work too at the company. So I swap it and so i find the fault........

    Do you know where the MX11 (adblue DEF dosage module temperature sensor)located
    I diagnose it and it show that on my machine and it's in RED marking
    It's a DAF MX11 XF EURO 6
    SO CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS ONE

      Hi nice to see you did some substitution to identify a fault. The fuel pump unit does have a issue which is usually the check valve which causes the pump not to build pressure in the rail.
      To answer your question you kind of answered it yourself. The adblue temperature sensor is located in the adblue module. The EAS system will check the adblue temperature in the tank and in the pump. If it's under -4*c it will presume the pump is frozen and the heater will need to be switched on to defrost the pump.
      You have 2 options. Get the pump repaired or replace it, you might want to check the wiring to the dosage module from the EAS ECU first to ruel out the wiring
