- I got the Moza Air from www.voosestore.com/ for testing and I decided to shoot some vertical videos with it.
So here we are testing how to use the 3 axis gimbal, shooting a sports video for Instagram. Here is the whole video: • Vertical sport

Perfect timing. Thanks!
great video Joonas!
nice idea - thanks
ugh i love this man
Hey, great video thanks! Would this work with the Canon 1DX?
I have both the Moza and Crane 2 and I prefer the Moza over the Crane, I think the Moza handles the weight better. Thank you for the information!
Nice tips, man. Hard to find the community talking about this online
This video was really helpful to say the least, I am expecting my Ronin-S to arrive and my area of expertise is instagram story video, so this actually fits my needs. One of the few videos out there that explains how to do this clearly. Greetings from Argentina
Did it work? Just got the Ronin- S to shoot mostly portrait. How did you do it?
Hey nice, videos! Why do you use lumix compared to sony?
HI Jonus, what lens are you using with that gimbal. thanks for the video.
hey Joo i also have the moza air. I have a lot of trouble balancing the gh5 on it. can i ask what quick release plate you use for your moza? did you get other accessories to help balance the gh5 on it?
Amazing information man, just booked clients that need this exact rig! Fantastic video 👍
love it
HI how do you edit your footage in the source monitor in PPro? Because you have to look sideways to look at your footage to set in and out points because its shot vertical
Can you send me a link or tell me where you bought the L angle you show at 0:57 I can not find it anywhere.
Hi how did u manage to balance the camera with the L bracket? Im using a6500 with sigma 16 mm lens but i cant really balance it properly with L bracket
Can you please share a link to the 2 parts you used? (The L and additional plate)
Would have been useful to have some links to these parts you used!?!
Hope you're happy with the gimbal!
It's good. :-)
Hello, I use the same gimbal but when I balance what buttons u press to calibrate.
Great video. I do the same thing with my GH5 in a SmallRig cage. It’s just a pain if you’re shooting horizontal then want to switch over to vertical. Takes too long to rebalance when you’re trying to work fast. Great results though and a much wider field of view than just cropping horizontal video to portrait.
Hey man. I wanna get the moza aircross! Do you think I would be able to use the camera vertical with it? Thanks in advance
0:20 "on the gym-bal" A gimbal you use at the gym
Great video thanks for sharing! I had not been able to find the angle iron unfortunately :( when I Google I find construction items care to share the link please?
Maybe add the word photography to the angle iron.
Nope... doesn't help. I got mine from photography shops. Then a camera cage will do the same thing, but those are more expensive.
@@JooWorks hey Joonas I found it (something alike) is an L bracket the one I got is a Falcon Eyes Camera L-Bracket TMB-20L works perfectly!
Again thanks for the video and the idea of how to mount it :)
this or the dji ronin s?
why didn't you put the iron on the other side and then maybe no need for the extra plate?
i've searched for angled iron on google and amazon an didnt find anithing like the one you show on the video.
does anyone know where can i find one to buy?
If you can't find one. A cage can do the same. Bit heavier, but better for stability.
It's called an L Bracket. You can find it if you use that word
Can anyone put the link of the Angle Iron? I cant find any
i've found an alternative bro, its an L bracket
What is that lav you have? Did you put a hole through your shirt?
It's rode pin mic. Yes you push it tough the fabrice, but it doesn't damage it.
PLEASE GIVE US THE NAME OF THE QUICK RELEASE PLATE!!!
This was part of a camera strap I bought from Thailand. Hmmm.. no brand.
Just buy an L-Bracket. Wouldnt that do the same?
You can do it in inverted mode
By keep pressing the joystick and power button 3 times
Why? Would you want to?
There is video platforms that use only vertical video. It's more engaging for mobile users.
Yep, I get that. I guess It's just my personal preference to shoot in landscape. Thanks for your reply, love your work
Not all videos are made for landscape, especially in the Instagram social media world we live in. A young model would rather share her working out on Instagram vs ANY other platform.
Instagram real estate.... 1080Wx1350H
@@JooWorks mobile users should learn to flip their phone over to view video, as well as filming. Their is a reason the phone i not square. vertical video is a thing, because people dont know better.. seeing a photographer engaging in this, really hurt's.
Why would any serious filmmaker shoot vertical? They look like amateur cell phone shots.
instagram stories
To post to Instagram and IGTV. Vertical videos are much more trendy now and give a personal feel due to the rise in Instagram and Tik Tok. I would argue that viewers connect more with vertical videos now than horizontal.
This comment didn’t age well at all lol
