      To me SKX looks better than Tudor, these are also the perfect size and functionality. Could somebody recommend a similar watch with better materials and everything? I was looking at Damasko DA34, would buy Sinn 104 if it had a normal or a 12h bezel as opposed to countdown. Cheers!

    I'm loving it so far. I have a seiko with a cheaper movement, it's two minutes fast per day and it's dead half the time when I wake up. This is 6 seconds fast per day and actually seems to have a 40 hour power reserve. Looks great, perfect size.

      qeMix, I have to agree with you. I understand Seiko pushing their mid tier watches up in price and hopefully the quality as well. But their 5 models still represent the low end of their porduct line and the prices keep rising. You can excuse the quality issues when they were extremely cheap but with the increased prices not so much. There are so many options out there that present a better bang for the buck, not to mention, more interesting designs.

    • @yuu0minae
      @yuu0minae Před 4 lety +1

      @a single white female I wouldn't mind the hollow links and endlinks if their price was 150$. if you think about it, this model is just a seiko 5 with an upgraded movement. you can get a seiko 5 for under 100$. so I don't quite see where the rest of the money went, to get to a price point of 275$. very aggressive price change by seiko on all their new models

    Everybody wants an upgraded bracelet, sapphire crystal and screw down crown. And I concur. If they did all that, the watch would be a great value at $275. I think it is a solid watch, but not necessarily a great deal. I would recommend it to my friends, but I would suggest maybe wait for the watch to go on sale. And I think it will eventually, and at around $200, it will be a great every day watch.
    My prediction is, sometime soon, Seiko released an upgraded version of this watch with premium bracelet, sapphire crystal, and screw down crown, all for $500 to $700. Then some folks will complain about how for that price, Seiko should be offering an upgraded movement.
