My grandpa always loved his driftwood. We never really appreciated and we made fun of it as a joke. But now he’s not with us anymore and we appreciate it. Hey Smitty - Don't know how much PSI your air compressor is - but
you should be wearing some sort of gloves when blowing down the drift wood
with an air gun.

I know this comment is a year old but maybe hydrogen peroxide if you need an alternative? It’s used to clean and degrease bones and isn’t potent at all, you can get it any almost any grocery/drug store or pharmacy

That could work as well I haven’t tried. I just wanted to get the wood as clean as possible before I bleached them to make sure the debris didn’t make it spotty.

I've done that and it ruins the bleach too quickly. It's best if you clean them first.

I use gorilla glue quite a bit. If it’s for an aquarium there’s specific types you can use. Seachem flourish glue is a good one.

You could but it will help kill bacteria and other organisms in the wood and help to preserve it.
